40 Something Remodel........Lift It, Shift It and Remove It!!!!

So much more to be done
It's been almost a year since I've posted and I feel a bit out of touch. During my late teens and twenties I suffered several injuries and they hadn't bothered me much until recently. So I do count that as a blessing, however, I must put my priorities in order and make certain all repairs are done so it doesn't interfere with the elective surgury. Everything happens for a reason and a purpose. Since my last post I've hear outstanding things about Dr Fisher. So I need to go back and reach him again.

Hello Everyone!! I joined RS Nov.'14, and I want to thank you all for being so forth-coming with such helpful info. I will be getting a bbl and breast lift. At 22yrs. I had my 1st. med.surgery since then there have been many so I'd like to do something about my scars. I'm leaning toward Dr. Salama, but I want to do more research. I want everything lipo'd a tiny waist and aaaaaaaass for days!!! I have realistic expectations and will post my before pics when I set my date.

I have a date set with Dr Salama for a Bbl on 8/11 and I also wanted a breast lift, I had a reduction done before. My husband is afraid of me having the surgery so I wanted to both done at the same time but I was told it would have to be at least 2 months apart, so I was not given a date for the breast lift. I have seen his before & after pics and I am impressed also he was very nice at my consult.

Hi! The reason you can't and shouldn't do both is because they are on opposite sides of body. During BBL, there is a time during surgery that you need to be on your stomach, therefore you'd be compressing your breasts. If you had a breast lift done, and then have to apply your body weight onto them, you can cause rupture of incisions and infections. That's why they need to be done separately. Some surgeons will do it, and won't really care about this and have you deal with all of the complications associated with this double procedure. I hope this clarifies as to why both can't be done together.

Dr. Salama I think you're the doctor I am. In search of to conduct my BBL. I was almost convinced from your previous patients testimonies, but your feedback provided here has me at 100% convinced. Now I just have to see if I can get time of from the military to get this done

Congrat's on your sx date!! It's encouraging that Dr. Salama voices his concern for the patient's well being as opposed to trying to please the patient and dealing with complications later. Also, waiting the 2 months for the breast lift gives me plenty of time to come up with something else for him to do :):). I'm interested in supplies so please keep me posted. Although my sx won't be until '16 i have already begun to research places to purchase supplies and I have a list of questions for Nancy or Cynthia. I will try my best to post at least once a week :) to keep up and to share
