Hi, I recently had my surgery about two weeks...
Hi,
I recently had my surgery about two weeks now with Mia Esthetics and I am pleased with the results. However leading up to getting the surgery done, it was not the greatest, greatest meaning the level of customer service that I received. I was placed with 3 different coordinators, and only one of them communicated with me, then somehow she disappeared and I was placed with another of whom I had to reach out to on my own. They never call and folllow up, or do courtesy calls for your surgery, when I sent over my lab results I had to call numerous times to ask if they received it and then I had to wait again for them to get back to me, turned out I still had email the coordinator to make sure I was cleared so that I can book my hotel. I Just want to say that I love dr. Alvarez but his staff needs proper training, I know things get crazy and it's busy but the patients should be the number one priority. The follow up needs to be improved drastically, sometimes you can be so golden but without the proper Customersrvice you can loose all your customers. I do have to say that when you do get to the office the staff is very warm and friendly, it's just getting in contact with them through phones and emails is the problem. My favorite person was Nina she was very sweet and the massage therapist Yeisy. I do plan on going back for my breast reduction, I just hope by then the service improves because I have already recommended a few people.

Dr.Alvarez, Very cool down to earth doctor, he made me feel very comfortable, I wasn't nervous or scared, he talked me through the procedure asked if I had questions. When I went back for my follow up he told me I looked great. One thing I would like to see is meeting him before my surgery , during the pre-ops and for him to call his patients to see how they are doing after the procedure or someone checking in. Besides that he's great and do great work.
