Thank you love. So far this experience has been amazing. I arrived 2 hours before my surgery that was scheduled for 2:30 but McAdoo was late which was the only frustrating part because it was so cold. Once he arrived, Louis (one of the assistants) took me to the operating room, doctor came in, asked a million health questions, marked me up, then left out the room. The anesthesiologist came in, I laid on the table, he gave me the medicine which burned really bad, all I remember was him talking to Louis, then I woke up in the recovery room. This part was hell only because I was shaking so bad due to it being so cold, other then that, not much pain, just really sore. The lady was trying to stuff me in a small ass garment which was frustrating but then Louis came and got me the correct size which was a large. They asked how I felt, and all I could think about was food lol I was starving. They told me to start with soups but I wanted real food. I walked to the car, had fresh pineapples waiting, then got to the recovery home (stayed with Andrea, who is super amazing and sweet). She provided me with more pineapples then I had macaroni salad and rotisserie chicken and lots of water. I pretty much slept the entire night, just got up to walk every couple of hours. Today I had my first massage, wasn't bad at all until she got to the stomach which is very sensitive, but you feel relieved. Now I'm back at the recovery home and relaxing. I'm pretty sure my recovery is not like many other's but I haven't been in pain. I couldn't be happier with my results. McAdoo is amazing.

When I took my garment off, I cried because my results looked so great. It was well worth it.

So you bought the 1st faja from Vanity? If so, how many? Did you buy the boards/foam from them too? And did you bring uour own compression socks??

The 1st garment came with my package and I purchased the lipo foams and board, I didn't get the foams for the sides, I used one of the foams and just cut it in half (you get 2). I bought compression socks, but they give you some once you change for surgery. I'll probably use my own once I get home. So far, it hasn't been bad, I don't have much bruising but I also started drinking pineapple juice and water daily before my surgery. Pineapple juice REALLY helps to prepare your body. I haven't purchased an extra faja yet but I'll probably get another before I leave tomorrow.
