Almost 4 Weeks Post Op
$8,999
Hey Ladies! So far so good. I am healing up pretty well and taking
extra precautions as it pertains to sitting and wearing my garments
around the clock. I recently began waist training with my cincher and
I am really liking the results. I am in a size 2xs. Swelling is going
down nicely and the but is softening a bit. :-) Enjoy!

A little over one week post op
Hi Ladies,
Sorry for such a gap. Ive been dealing with both recovery and the holidays so its been a busy week for me. Where should I start? Okay so the recovery time for this procedure is definitely a process. You must be dedicated and you must follow EVERYTHING the Dr. and office tells you for after care. Many women get dissatisfaction due to not having enough time or patience in waiting for this process to end but you must realize that things don't happen overnight and you have to follow directions. Any lack of it can change the look of this procedure.
Now that im done lecturing lol, I take that all into account for my post op recovery.. Its rough!! From my now frequent sensations to go to the bathroom( meaning removing the garment and foams and pulling it down, hovering over the toilet and repeating like 5x/day), waking up in pain and stiffness, laying on my stomach all the time and not being able to just SIT! Lol its all an adjustment so its been really hard to stay motivated buy im pushing through it! At this point im down to 1 perc a day and as of today I havent needed any. I had my final drain removed this past Saturday and I feel so free. Still not completely able to sleep through the night due to the garment discomfort and sleep position but hey, Im not slacking at all!! I want this body to be carved to perfection and if 6 months is the key to this so be it! So as far as things that Ive needed and have worked for me. My boyfriend was kind enough to purchase me a Wahl deep tissue massager for stimulating the lipo areas in between massages for Christmas. This little gadget works wonders let me tell you! My next massage isn't until this Friday so I try to be productive in between bathroom strips of the garment im which I then use the long armed massager for a quick massage around my mid section and arms (about 10
Minutes). It is definitely maintaining my areas that were lipoed and i feel no hard areas forming. I try to focus on the sensitive areas and areas that feel a bit stiff. This is a good investment in my opinion for post op care. I have included a pic for your reference. Also when removing your drain, Saline works good for cleaning the area afterwards and maintaining when it is packed for healing. Well thats all for now ladies! Still pleased with my results so far. Haven't lost any projection and Im measuring at a little over 45". All wounds are healing fine and Im starting to feel like myself again. The following pics are recent (underware pic is at day 9 and the green pants are as of yesterday, day 10 post op) enjoy and ask me anything!

You look Gorgeous! I absolutely want to get this procedure done but have NO idea which Dr to go to. I've been to a few consults not really feeling any of them. It may just be my nerves and not the Drs. How did you make your decision.
Thanks. That's awesome and totally normal. I researched for about 6 months and was able to actually book this appointment after a year and a half. My biggest concerns were finding the Dr. with the most experience in BBL's and who actually used a good amount of cc's for their procedure. I have two siblings in which one had a BBL and one Lipo with Docs locally and both results were very unnoticeable as if they didn't pay all this money to get it done, so at that point I knew going to a local doc was not going to be a good look. I focused on the docs in high demand plastic surgery areas (Via NY, FL, CA). Out of those Docs, Dr. Salama appeared to meet all my needs. I then sent him in a few pics of me and I really liked what his reviews were on my body and went from there.
I was a member of real self for quite some time looking at all the reviews good and bad and what I can say in regards to that is it can make you scared and unsure if you are making the right decision for Dr. Selection. However, Dr. Salama had way more good reviews than bad and the bad reviews honestly in my opinion were all based off of things that he makes clear in signing over your consents and everyone's body is different. Its not just the Dr. it is the procedure itself that can possibly cause issues. For example in regards to burns, I read a horrifying story about how he burned someone and it had me nervous. However, I had to take into account one of the risks of the procedure is burns by the aggressive lipo. The more fat you have around the lipo areas the better chances you won't burn as bad. I do have one small burn on my side that will fade with topical treatment but it is because he told me in my consult he will aggressively take from my back and sides in which at that point, knowing what I just consented for I had a right to say, "Well Dr. Salama I'm afraid my skin will burn so can you not aggressively lipo me and still try to get the best results possible?" Its all written consent of knowing what is at stake with him giving you your best results. Also, you have to be realistic of the expectations. Dr. Salama described my shape as an "A" shape meaning, I flare when you get to my hip area. This is an ideal shape for a candidate because after the procedure your hips will project out correctly and your butt will give you that curved look. If you have a square or awkward shape to begin with and no underlined hip structure, chances are you will still have some what of a square shape. He can reshape your bottom but he cannot change the underlining area to give you something you totally didn't have in the first place. I feel like he does his best to get his patients what they want but again, you have to be realistic. Its funny because your profile pic was my wish pic and he even told me then before surgery, you will not see this sort of fullness and fluff until later on (possibly 6 months to a year) so I knew and understood what to expect. I appreciate his honesty and detail. Also keeping this fat alive is very IMPORTANT. I was from out of town so after care at the recovery house, I flew home using up 3 seats in the plane (luckily it was an open flight) laying down with my butt in the air. You CANNOT sit on this bottom. Dr. Salama says for up to 6 weeks. If you have to no more than 20-30 minutes. If you do you risk loosing the projection, shape or overall appearance in the result. So please please please, if you get this done, make time for yourself.
Your body looks great!!!! I love your results!!!! Thanks for the informative review! I hope you feel 100% your normal self real soon. Take care.
Thanks! You do the same.
I have only started to consider this, coming here just thinking of breast augmentation. My neck gets sore if I sleep on my stomach for 10 minutes, ugh! Also, as I would be flying to Florida too probably, how long until you can take the plane ride home?
Yes, it is very annoying! LOL.. It takes 2 hours and 30 minutes from where I am located. I'm in the Midwest. Best wishes with your decision.
It takes about a full week to 10 days before you should fly home. At least that's what they recommend.
Booty!!!!! That's all I gotta say!! Work it lol ;)
LOL!! Thanks love!

1-3 Day Post Op - officially "Salamatized"
I am so thrilled with my results from Dr. Salama. He is a true artist and really gives his patients exactly what they are looking for. I had my procedure on the 18th of this month and the team made me so comfortable. From the time I was picked up by Justin at the airport, to being welcomed by Grace at the wonderful sister-like recovery house, both my pre-op and surgery, I was shown such support, care and dedication to my services. This is not an easy surgery ladies so I suggest you stay at the recovery house. Its such a great feeling to have around the clock care post your treatment. Trust you will NEED it!! Lourdes and Grace are like our mothers here. They take such great care of us and its really a great time to vibe with the other women and relax and recover together. More pics to come but here are a few from day 2 post op.
