Day of BBL continued...

So the car ride to the recovery house gave me some strength. I chose to stay with curvy angels recovery house. So far so good. I love the owner Vanessa. She makes you feel at home. This is not an easy recovery in my opinion. Since I got here, I have been draining from my stomach and pubic area where he did the lipo. Definitely bring plenty of ABD pads and pads for the bed. I'm changing mine very frequently even though my recovery house supplies these for you. It is nice to have the extra. I have been up walking around. Going to the bathroom has been challenging. I've peed on my garment 3x already so I wold definitely suggest urinal! I didn't get one before coming and I do regret it. Especially with my OCD and I can't take it off yet. I love my roommate t the recovery house. We help each other as much as we can. I get up to walk a lot. I feel better up than lying down, but I have to lay down. I'm jus extremely stiff and sore. I'm not at all a stomach sleeper so this has been difficult. Dinner was great! They definitely fed me good. The Percocet helps a lot for pain. I have my first post op massage tomorrow so I'm off to bed.

Day of my BBL and the hours after

My surgery went very well. I was scheduled for 8Am, but by the time I was on the table it was like 8:30. I had to pee in a cup first, then I got into my gown and put all my personal items in a bag. About 15 mins later I got my IV. 15 minutes after that Dr Alvarez came in and marked me up. He left, but he took me back about 10 mins later. I laid on the operating table and they hooked me up to the monitor for my vitals. Then the anesthesia went in my IV while the surgical team was doing something to my legs. I couldn't see since I was laying back. Before I knew it, I was waking up. I was shaking and cold from the loss off blood and the anesthesia I assume. The recovery house picked me up and as painful as the car right was, it helped me gain some of my strength back.

Update on procedure!

So I just recently decided to only do a BBL on June 14th considering if I did breast implants at the same time, I wouldn't get the full benefit of the lipo. I didn't know there was a 1 liter restriction on lipo when doing a double procedure in Florida. I am so excited and I leave tomorrow night for Miami. I can't wait to meet Dr. Alvarez and see what he can do to make me look amazing.
