Home and Recovering

Wednesday was my follow up appointment with Dr. Perez-Gurri, and he said everything looks wonderful, still swollen, but not as much as a week ago. Him and my coordinator, Monica, answered all of my questions and were extremely helpful!
I flew home Wednesday and was back to work on Thursday. I honestly can tell a major difference in just one week and happy I'm not as swollen.
The only bummer is that my incisions are healing and they are unbearably itchy!!
None the less! Staying positive!

Lymphatic massage

Today, I had my first lymphatic massage (First one is complimentary with Imagos) and WOW is it rough! It's beneficial, but still, so rough!

omg how exciting! I'm planning on getting liposuction and bbl at the end of the month. how did you feel right when you got out of the hospital and the following day?
It was rough, I was so sore, and the pain killers left an after funk feeling which I mistook for constant motion sickness. Also, seeing my new body with the garment off was misleading because I'm swollen and all around just a hot mess. But! It has been a full week since surgery and I can see and feel a difference! The post lipo massages are painful and WORTH IT. I'm already back at work (Hair stylist) and can't wait to see the final results after a full recovery!

P.S. My surgeon (Perez-Gurri) and his team were kind, professional, informative, and talented! I recommend him if you're living or plan on traveling to the Miami area.
