17 Months Post-op Tummy Tuck...need a Big Ol' Bootyyyy. - Miami, FL
ORIGINAL POST
So I'm 17 months post op full tummy tuck with...
$8,499
So I'm 17 months post op full tummy tuck with muscle repair/lipo and first round of fat transfer. I ran into a whole heap of complications with my first surgery (pulmonary embolism, opened wounds, hospitalized for infection) but mostly in part to my lack of diligence. I was VERY immobile, I got off the couch once a day at most, I flew back home at 4 days-op, and failed to wear my garment properly. Needless to say, I've come a long way and have learned a lot. I will follow instructions to a TEE and I will walk walk walk.
Anyway, I have ALWAYS been obsessed with booty. I would joke to my friend in high school (10 years ago) that I WOULD have butt implants one day. I had NO bum and ladies, I am not exaggerating. It was not there.
I had my first round of fat transfer in June 2013 and because I was in so much pain from the lipo, muscle repair, and tummy tuck, I really didn't give an EFF about my fat transfer. I sat on dat azz all day e'rrday. (Number 1 rule with a BBL--DO NOT SIT ON IT duh)
That leaves me here... almost a year and a half later, having completed a full year of anti-coagulation therapy for my blood clot, scars are healed, tummy is still a bit puffy and swollen some days, and my bum is definitely no whooty. (White girl with booty!) Dr Salama was actually my first choice from the get-go but was completely out of my price range. Obvs, I've changed my mind and will pay his inflated prices. Mostly because of the reviews on RealSelf. I'm really hoping Dr Salama will give me the booty I've always dreamed of (and a tiny waist!)
I've booked with Nancy (such a sweetie) and paid my deposit. April 14 is the BIG day. My sister is booked in for a breast aug for the same day. (Eeee, sister surgery!) I've just got the clearance from my hematologist and my family doctor. I still have about 35lbs to lose which is why it is booked so far in advance. I'll be sure to keep you all updated.
