Day of treatment
I stalked this page prior to my surgery, so I figured I'd return the favor. I am done having children and decided to upgrade my "girls". I am 5"4 and was a
34 saggy "C". I chose Dr Hochstein because I was constantly drawn to his before and after photos since the time I first began to research. I did initially interview two other local doctors, but again was in love with DrH's pics.
I will update with pics frequently ;)
Here's my before photo. 5'4 34c
One day post op. Bandages are now off. A lot of pressure and some burning. Excited for the days ahead!
Day two post op
Today's been a little rough. Nauseous a bit. Felt good to take a shower although I was a bit scared it would hurt... It did not btw. Here are some pics ...
Had a rough day. Fell asleep without taking the pain meds(and yes, I did have an alarm set) so when I woke up i was hurting a bit. Other than that, all is well.
Finally going home. We stayed at the turn berry isle resort (15 minutes from dr Hochstein's office) I highly recommend it. We live about an hour away, but I didn't want to travel after anesthesia and I have little ones at home,
So thought the break would be best. We ended up extending our stay from two nights to four. The staff was amazing ,so very attentive. Always knocking and asking if we needed anything at all ( and not in an annoying way) and the room was extremely comfortable.
So if anyone is considering staying after surgery, don't hesitate. It's amazing.
Im feeling pretty good today. Just a little achy. Will post pics when I get home :)
One week post op
Hi! Sorry I've been missing in action, had a rough few days. I'm out of my pain meds and it's been quite an adjustment . Dr days everything is healing nicely
10 days post
Here are some pics from yesterday (9dayspost) I've been having pain in my right breast :/ wish it would stop. I've also, since the surgery, had the worst ache in my back on the right side as well . Can't seem to get my back comfortable.. Tried those stick on heating patches .. I'm at a loss . Open to suggestions lol
Figured I'd put it out there since most of the posts I saw pre-surgery were all how recovery isn't that bad and you'll feel better in a week or two. And I'm calling shenanigans on that. I'm in pain and I'm miserable. My right breast hurts and the right side of my back is constantly aching (really bad). Sorry to be a Debbie downer, but I didn't really think I'd still be this uncomfortable almost two weeks later .. Today is day 12. Maybe it's a bit of the depression stage combined with pain, I don't know. But feeling like in being punished for being vain. ( ridiculous I know) I just wish I would have known the "real" recovery time, but I guess
The truth is everyone's body is different and everyone heals differently. Having a sick very active three year old is not helping my current situation either :/ ok, pity party over
