I have been on Real Self under another username...
I have been on Real Self under another username since September 2015. During that month, I decided I would begin the process of researching plastic surgeons for a MM and BBL. Prior to finding RS, I've had two in-person consultations with plastic surgeons in my home state. Both surgeons charged a consultation fee ($75 and $90). Their procedures were comparatively more expensive and their work seemed good, until I started researching other surgeons on RS. I concluded that I would select a surgeon located in an area with women who have the ideal body images I'm trying to achieve. (There are not a lot of shapely and in-shape women in my area.) I believe a surgeon will sculpt you according to what they see in their area.
I first considered going to Dr. Duran in the Dominican Republic. However, once I researched and compared the medical standards abroad with those in the US, I decided to go with Dr. Salama in Florida. I found Dr. Salama and requested a consultation through Real Self. So far, my experience has been great! I received a timely response for consultation via email . I've also spoke to the nice ladies on staff via phone. I have not had an in-person consultation, however, the exchanges I have had with the staff (particularly Noemi) were informative, positive and professional.
I am scheduled for a Mommy Makeover 06/14/16 and a Brazilian Butt Lift 10/11/16.
I have always been an active person. My level of fitness ramped up when I learned my ex-fiancé was cheating. We split and I worked out almost daily to deal with the stress and emotional changes. I am now in a much better head space and I'm definitely in better shape!
My goals are to achieve symmetry and full curves to the athletic body that I already have. I have decided to pursue a career in figure competing. To become a professional figure competitor, your body has to be on point. There are no smoke and mirrors within this industry. The BA within the Mommy Makeover will add femininity to my broad upper body; and the TT in the Mommy Makeover will repair the abdominal hernia separation and bulging I have from child delivery. These changes alone will make a world of difference with my figure. The BBL will give me the extra fullness in my hips and a little roundness to the backside. Overall these procedures will help me achieve the feminine, athletic figure I desire. My goal is to heal in a healthy manner, so I can continue training for competitions. I'm now working out 6 days a week. I will stop working out 4 weeks prior to surgery.
I will keep everyone posted with my journey toward my MM and BBL, by positing photos, listing products I try and good old fashioned comments. I wish you all the best of luck with your goals and pursuit of your real self!
P.S. The cost listed above is for both the MM and BBL procedures combined only. (cost rounded up) I will provide a breakdown of all of my expenses prior to my surgeries.
P.S. My current profile picture is inspirational to me. It is of Monica Brant an IFBB professional Figure Competitor!

Dr. Salama is a great surgeon!! He performed a tummy tuck and breast lift on me in November and I am absolutely in love with my results! I wish I could have gotten a BBL, but I'm going to try to give exercise thing to see if I can lift it naturally. I'm excited for you, You're going to love your results!
Thank you y_kiki for your response! I'm glad you love your results! I wish you all the best with your exercising. Squats, lunges, and stairs will definitely help!
