It's only been a week, but I decided to start my review while I'm stuck in the house. I lost over 100 pounds after gastric sleeve so I decided to have the excess skin on my arms and my breast lifted and implants after the fullness was deflated from the rapid weight loss.
I went with sub muscular saline implants. I let Dr. Salama chose the sizes for me during surgery*fingers crossed*. So he had two sets of implants went I went under. When I woke up he told me he went with 580cc in left breast and 660cc in right breast. My boobs were lopsided before surgery. On my arms he did an extended arm lift to get the bra fat and did liposuction on my "angel wings" only back. So far I'm feeling great. I'll try to keep you updated.
As far as Dr. Salama he was great and I was comfortable with him. His staff was great and put up with my 1000 questions. If you're a person with a lot of questions then I advice you to write them down and ASK. Because if you don't ask, you probably won't be told like I had to ask how long to wear my garments and etc. Ask especially if you're an out of town patient like I was because his office can get really busy, but they've always give me an answer within 24 hours.

Garments are PAINFUL
aford6March 29, 2015
Ok. I don't know if it's just me but these compression garments are TOO tight. The swelling in my arms has gotten painful. I admit I haven't been wearing my compression garments as much as I should but I honestly think they gave me too many garments that are extremely too tight. The dr has me wearing a surgical bra, a bra strap, an arm compression garment, and a full waist cincher that comes over my arms. I CANT EVEN WALK W ALL THIS MESS ON! I'm trying to follow the instructions but it's painful. The garments are opening my stitches under my breast. I don't know how this will affect my results but I think they should consider sizes and a patient comfort more. I've seen ladies with a one piece top garment that could do the same as all the mess they have me in. If you see dr salama make sure you speak up. I didn't I figured they know better than me.
After reading other reviews I decided to wear them in rotation since my arms and fingers were going numb and it was causing bleeding under my breast and arms. I can't wait for this swelling to go down. ;(
Rant over. Any suggestions? Pls they're welcomed. Asking a surgeon can be difficult when they've never been through it.

You shouldn't wear the garment on arms if it makes your fingers numb. Find something larger. Like spandex work out shirt.

Sorry you're having a rough time with your garments, the pics you posted showed very nice results and you should be able to coast though this time in reasonably little pain. Your garments aren't supposed to be painful and should actually provide comfortable support! I hope you've called your PS by now and have been fitted with something more appropriate for you. My PS doesn't supply garments and I purchased my own from makemeheal.com. Getting the proper fit took a little tweaking, but they are wonderful to deal with when exchanging garments, and super fast. I also used lipo-garments.com with great service too.
Best wishes to you for speedy healing!

Thx. I'll have to check the website out. Thanks for the advice. I took the garment off and bought compression sleeves from the sporting goods store until I get a new one.

I had issues with compression garments as well I says finding the right one is like finding the right doctor! lol the one I found that I really like because they are soft and comfortable are the D' Prada line. Also while i was in Miami I bought my compression garment from this store on 8th the address is 6260 SW 8th Ave Miami Fl 33144 the phone# is 305-269-1986 and the website is www.fajascorse.com but you can go there and try on before you buy. This was great because there was actually a method to putting some of these compression garments on! I tried one and thought it's too small and I can't get it up the sales girl came in showed me how to put it on and it turned out it was too big! So if you can go there it would be a great help to you in finding the right one for your needs. Hope this helps and happy healing!

you can check them out on line the only thing is you can't return once you buy so you are better off just finding somewhere near you that sells them or just making sure that a place you buy from online does returns. I'm in NY and where I go for massage the lady sells them there so I can try on before I buy.

Thanks for sharing, this sounds like it would be important for a lot of members. Definitely follow up with your PS to discuss something that fits correctly.

Hi. Your arms look they will give you nice results. You should ask your PS for a larger size. It looks like they didn't give you the correct size, cause your arms/hands shouldn't be going numb. This is apparently causing too much compression and causing you to loose proper circulation.
Can we get a closer look at your scars when you get a chance? I'm planning on getting an arm lift later this year & am "concerned" about the scars. It looks like you had a posterior scar location. Can you see the scars from the back? Thanks.

Sure I'll try to remember to take more pics Thursday when I change the tape. I forgot to take a pic when I took the tape off.

My left boob is dropping way faster than the left omg I'm nervous I'll be lopsided. I read that it would take my implants longer to drop since they were overfilled. I want them to drop a little. I think my dr went for natural. I want the plastic (show girl) look. So I'm not too excited about dropping much more. I'm nervous they'll look TOOO natural (saggy)

The girls look wonderful it is the perfect size for your shape. Your arms have a beautiful youthful shape they are healing nicely. What is your current weight and height I want to do the same as you.
