Very disappointing - looks and feels like symmastia

3 Months Post Op and the Incisions That Were Made Were Sloppy , Leaving Elephant Ears on Both Sides of Breasts

$8,400

Very upset with the incisions that were made by Dr Hochstein. Their are elephant ears/extra skin at each side of each breast, the incision/ scars are not precise more so he used a jagged incision. Dr. Hochstein is not concerned with how my breasts look and states everything looks as they should. He could not recommend any further treatment or scar therapy or serum. I have skin flaps at each end of each breast. I expected scarring that would heal with time but I did not expect to for my breasts to be disfigured. Very disappointing.

Have you been using the biocorneum? I was really concerned about my scars too in the beginning. I am very fair skinned and my scars were red and pretty thick (it seemed)....I've been using the biocorneum and my vertical scars have almost disappeared! My horizontal are still there but get lighter every week. Unfortunately, surgeons cannot predict how patients will scar. I've never really had surgery or any major scars before so I was really nervous! I went to DR H also. I'm sorry you've had such a rough experience! I hope things get better!
I am not using Biocorneum, it looks like it is physician dispensed and Dr. Hochstein never recommended or offered his opinion on scar serums. I will look into it though. Thank you.
Wow that's weird! He recommended it like 10 times for
Me. It should be in the papers he gave
You too! It's expensive but works super well! U can find it on amazon too!
Found it! Thank you.

This is what my breasts look like in a non padded, non wired bra.

Very upsetting to look in the mirror and see the results of my breast augmentation. Looks and feels like synmastia but according to Dr. Hochstein everything looks as it should.

There seems to be a teeny gap. Why don't you use a seperating bra, they may go apart.
I have been using one. I put this bra on to check if their has been any improvement. Also, that teeny gap you see is lifted about a 1/4-1/2 inch off of my sternum. The tenting is very hard to capture in a picture.
I had a similar problem ( my fault not surgeon's though). It wasn't full blown or even real synmastia but implants were too close anyway. I know what it's like to know sth isn't right. I hoped you do have a real small gap. I'm sorry it isn't the case.
Btw,lately I've read a review of a woman about to have a surgery at the same doc. He may be popular in Florida
I'm not a doctor, but it sure looks like the beginnings of symastia to me. I sure hope he will agree to fix it and make it right for you.
I have emailed Dr. Hochstein as well as his out of town coordinator on multiple occasions, he refuses to acknowledge that my breast augmentation results are less than desirable. That is what is so upsetting, I even asked him to send me an estimate for the revision to make it right. He said he cannot be held accountable for how my breasts look in bras, bathing suits, etc. That was the last contact I had with him.
I had the same experience with his office.

My breast are still tenting and appear to have a uniboob. Dr. Hochstein stated he cannot be held responsible for how my breasts look in bra, bathing suit, clothing etc. Obviously saddened and regretful that I chose him as a plastic surgeon. I spent over $8,000.00 and he states everything looks as it should. Currently interviewing plastic surgeons for a revision.

I'm so sorry! Did you try any of the techniques I found for you?
Sorry you had a negative experience with your surgeon =(. Really sucks having to pay so much and put a lot of trust in someone who is being extremely inconsiderate on such a serious matter, surgery is definitely no joke. Good luck on your search for a new surgeon and I hope you get better care the next time.
What size and profile and brand did you choose? What was your cupsize and rib cage width before?

Im going to reimplant soon, imscared of synmastia too.
I hope your surgeon willrespond to you at last and youllarrange for some make up procedure
I wonder if botched would redo for you? Def looks fixable, I think they like these type cases. He deserves that type of attention I'm...
I'm sorry you went through the this. I recently had a revision with Dr.Shuster he was amazing. I had consultations with both Dr.Hochstein and Dr. Revis and decided to go with Shuster due to his reviews and bedside manner. I also had a friend who got hers done by him. I researched long and hard because I had such a bad experience my first time around.
