Hi all, I've been stalking this site for a while, scared and excited all at the same time. I finally put my deposit down and scheduled my BBL for November with Dr Alvarez. I would love advice from everyone on what I need to buy and what I don't need to buy. Also my husband will be taking care of me and I would like to know a reasonable hotel and is there any type of transportation available? I'm not sure a taxi would work out well. Lol ???? Any advice would be welcomed! As of now i feel clueless on where to stay and what to buy.

TRY AIRBNB THEY HAVE ENTIRE HOMES FOR LESS THAN A HOTEL ROOM. WHEN I GET MY SURGERY THAT WERE ME N MINES ARE STAYING.

I would really recommend for you to stay at a recovery home even if its just for the first 2-3 days. I have my surgery scheduled with him in November and i have been doing non stop research and have actually spoken to some of his patients and everyone recommends it. At recovery homes they have just about anything and everything you need. I will be staying at dolls Recovery house in Miami where they have rooms for you and a guest, I'll be bringing my mother with me and for everything that I am getting the price is worth it.

Thanks I did look at some and I might be wrong but it looks like your guest stays in another room? And if that is the case my husband will not stay in another room even for one night.

In the Dolls Recovery Home that I am staying at there's two beds and a bathroom in the same room for you and your guest. So he would be with you right now their having a sale for $120 a day for you and $65 a day for the guest and they provide the guest meals and transportation as well.

Please can some vets answer this question? What do recovery houses actually provide different than what my husband can do? I am so confused on if I "need" to stay at a RH or if I'm okay at a hotel/house. Do they offer additional pain medication? Do they monitor your health? And if so how? I am worried my husband will feel uncomfortable in someone's house and will want the freedom to go to the bathroom or drink a beer in privacy! Lol

I'm a little annoyed today I found out my surgery is going to be at spectrum I'm paying $400 more than most of the dolls going through Dr. Alvarez AND I have to pay for my own labs, get an EKG, and a doctors release letter AND the pre op & follow ups are in his personal office 20 mins away! So what is the benefit in booking directly through him??? It's going to cost me double the money in transportation and hotel fees (because they advised I stay near his office in Miami Beach and hotels are twice as much).

Hello Doll, my friend and I are also paying 4500 for our BBL's with Dr. Alvarez. We're scheduled for Jan 2017. I saw other reviews where he charged a little bit less. I'm thinking his prices went up when he opened his new office. Whatever the reason, I love his work and reviews. After reading other negative reviews and nightmare stories with other doctors, I'm willing to pay the extra LOL When are you scheduled? Have you found a RH yet? My friend and I are still trying to decide on one.

His office has been open for at least a year. I had my surgery with him and I had a little bit more confidence in him because he had his own practice.
