What a Difference

MoD4
WORTH IT$5,000
I am finally feeling like me again. Appetite is back, no more migraines (iron dissolves w/vitamin c did the trick), able to do light workouts, numbness in legs has stopped, etc. I am still sensitive to touch and swollen in my back and abdomen. There are also areas I massage more than others in attempt to get fluid and hardness worked out. I’m pretty comfortable in my stage 2 faja and ordering a smaller one today. I have enough room to wear my ab board and lipo foams with little pressure. I’m excited to see my waist getting back to the size it was a year and a half ago. I use quite a few silicone based products, coco butter, bio oil and natural scar gel on my incisions. The combination of them all are keeping my scars soft and already fading them. It’s going to be hard to tell what product worked best so I’ll post everything I’m using. I also keep silicone tape over my main incisions. I take them off to shower but replace them after applying all my products. I’m already planning to see Dr Stover again for a breast lift. I’m really comfortable with her as a Dr, she’s STILL so very responsive and her work is phenomenal.

She did a really good job I am considering going to her

She’s awesome! Working out before hand made a huge difference as well. But if you’re looking for an experienced/caring doctor you can lose with her

Girl you look amazing, how am I just now seeing this. Your shape is perfect
January 27, 2019
Awww, thank you. You know we’re our toughest critics. I still want my waist to dip in more and my butt to be a little firmer. But that’s all gym work at this point. Dr Stover could only do so much lol. I stopped working out in November to prep for surgery and didn’t go back to lifting until this week. So I lost a lot of muscle mass/tone. Now just building on top of what she built. I can’t wait to see you a month from now! I kid you not I was a 31 waist after surgery and am now 27 and it’s no where near the 6 month mark. I’m 38-27-43.5 now. I’m HOPING to get to 38-25-44 in the next month. The gym and shape-ware are my two best friends right now lol.

Swelling & Bruising Improving

MoD4
Just a brief update. 12 days post surgery and a lot of improvement. Most of my bruising is gone (only in arms now). And swelling is also improving. I can still feel the pressure in my midsection so I know I’m still swollen. I only take my Faja off only to shower (already can fit in my stage 2). I also use lipo foams for my sides and ab board. The Faja alone is quite uncomfortable being it’s on 24/7 I wear tanks underneath. My incisions are barley noticeable but I will be starting a scar and stretch mark regimen in a few days. I wanted to ensure I had no unhealed wounds. I am noticing most of what was harvested was placed in my hips and upper portion of my butt. I knew it wouldn’t be a ridiculous change in my butt being I needed help in my hip area. I still think things look great and expect them to improve over the next 3-5 months even more with less swelling, my workout routine and high protein diet.

Can't wait lol

I bet! I can’t wait to see my 3 and 6 month mark. When my waist is even more snatched. Ton of the swelling is down. Most of it now seems more muscular (inflammation) than fluid.

Yesterday was Rough

MoD4
I barely slept during the night and woke up super stiff, swollen and sore. I forced myself to eat something so I could take my antibiotic. I shed a few tears during my massage and the masseuse told me I really needed stronger pain meds. I told her I’d contact Dr Stover. And that due to another condition I was prone to muscle inflammation. I asked Dr Stover if I could take a muscle relaxer but she didn’t recommend it. I then asked about an NSAID to possibly help with the inflammation I assumed was the issue . She green lighted me to try it. And thank God I did. It took a few hours but I started to feel less pressure and pain. I also had a migraine all day that was so bad it caused me to have a nose bleed that ceased a few hours later too. So at this point I may just stick to the NSAIDs and ditch the pain meds. Hoping today is a good day in preparation for my flight tomorrow. And the inflammation/bruising gets better.

Congratulations doll! Please keep us updated on your recovery. I am thinking about going with Stover in March, but I have not seen too many reviews. Glad you had a positive experience
December 13, 2018
Thank you! The facility and Dr Stover have been great. I didn’t see many reviews either but most on here were positive. Her credentials and time in the medical field also spoke volumes. Do as much research on your choices as possible. This is definitely a procedure where you want to be comfortable with your doctor.

Sorry you had a bad day doll, prayers and well wishes 4 you.

Wow sorry to hear you’ve been in so much pain. I know the pain meds that she prescribed me caused me to have extremely bad headaches and I stopped taking those and only took Tylenol extra strength. It sounds like the NSAIDS are working for you so I would stick to that and take some before your plane ride. Also, take a towel and roll it up and use that for back support on the plane ride along with the bbl pillow or whatever you chose to sit with. Hopefully that helps. I hope you have a better today and a safe travel home. You look great by the way!
December 14, 2018
Yes that nose bleed headache was the final straw for me. I think it was the inflammation and blood flow that caused it (those pills definitely slow your heat rate). That towel idea is golden. I’m so not looking forward to the extra swelling and flight discomfort but oh well. Fingers crossed I pass out on the plane lol. Thank you for all the help this far

Haha I think you’ll be fine on the plane. You’re stronger than you think. I’m glad to help where I can.
December 15, 2018
Ha ha... you were right. It wasn’t bad at all. Used back support, bbl pillow and stretched a few times and it was over. Took Dr Stover’s advice on the wheelchair at the airport. I learned my walk from the car to the wheelchair assistants walking wasn’t smart. I got super overheated and faint. Didn’t seem like much of a task until I had to keep up with my son and fiancé. I tapped in and asked or a chair lol

I’m glad you’re ok and made it hone safe. I totally forgot to mention the wheelchair assistance. They will wheelchair you to the gate and it’s definitely worth it. I’m happy it worked out though and keep some alcohol pads nearby to help with the fainting because you’ll need it for at least another week until you start getting back to normal.
December 15, 2018
Got it. I didn’t even think to carry them through the airport. Thank you!
December 17, 2018
Hey girl I just thought of something I didn't ask! Have you heard of cell saver, and did you do it?
December 17, 2018
No I have not heard of or used it
December 17, 2018
Oh ok! Did you do your massages through Xiulet and do you recommend the person you went to? Was it all manual or did they use any machines or lights on your stomach?
December 18, 2018
Yes. And my masseuse was awesome. She used both ultrasound and manual techniques.
December 18, 2018
Ok great! Thanks for all the info, how are you feeling at this point? Let us seeeeeee
