New Focus on Weight Loss
$9,000
So recall I was upset about being told that I had to do a TT first and then wait to do the BBL. I don't want to do that just yet. Its too much money and I dont want to travel back and forth AND thats time off work. So I am going to focus on losing about 25-35 lbs and in July when I go to Miami for vacation, Ill try to schedule an in person consult w/ Dr. S.
Sooooooooo, now to lose weight... That has been a roller coaster for me, but I am hoping wanting this procedure soooo badly will help motivate me. My brother has dragged me to the gym several times last week and he has started up on this week too. My brother is a football players and loves working out. He wants to go into the military and has to lose like 10lbs, but all he has left is dang muscle so he's pretty much okay. BUT, I go ahead and go w/ him. I think I died last night on the stair climber (the 10 min I was on it). Anywho. Im at 241.8 right now. Im starting back in w/ my weight watchers app and need to start packing my lunch for work. Ill update you guys at least monthly on my progress! I know this is not a weight loss blog, but its for the purpose of getting my BBL. Gotta break my goals down into smaller manageable pieces!!

Disappointed butt not Discouraged
Sooooo Dr. S suggested I get a tummy tuck first then wait 4-5 mths and get the bbl. He said this is because of excess skin. I've seen reviews on her with people my size or larger who had the procedure so I don't fully understand why I would be different. I don't want to pay 6 thousand for a tt and then 9 more on my bbl. That's crazy to me! Anyone else have this issue?
I think what ill do is go for an in person consult in my area to get another opinion. I was upset initially, but I really do want this.

Me! Dr.S also told me I needed a TT but I thought the same thing I've seen reviews with other similar bodies to mine and they received miracles lol ijs y can't I receive the same lol but I really do need a TT but I'm not worried about a TT I'm worried about my FLAT butt! So my plan is to get my bbl now then get my TT later after I'm done having kids.
It didn't seem like that was an option with Dr. S, but then again I was a tad upset and haven't asked any follow up questions yet lol. Are you switching docs?
Thanks for sharing too!
No ma'am I'm not switching because I'm not looking to have a flat stomach and a Fat ass, all I want is a smaller stomach and a Fat ass lol but I will look in to the TT stuff later I'm young and have all the time in the world...but don't give up on him I think he would change both of our lives lol
I'm getting both together. You should be able to find someone who is willing to do both. Either way, ask for a multiple procure discount... whether the work is done the same day or not. Good luck!
Procedure... darn spell check
I agree with New Attitude 2014! ...Plus Dr, Salama is right - for the best long term results, for you overall figure, the tummy tuck is a must - it tightens up your abdominal muscles so that the fat doesn't keep returning to your midsection
I find that a lot of American doctors want to separate the procedures because of the healing (something done to your front and your back may make it difficult to rest) and it may have something to do with them being nervous how your body will react. In speaking with doctors in the DR, I found one who wanted me to separate procedures (check my review) but I don't want that. I can't go through that twice in one year and take all that time off work! LOL
Good luck with whatever u decide to do!

I don't look horrible with clothes on. But I want a nice "no clothes" figure.

OMG you already have a nice body, you sure you want to go through all this?? You have that enviable coke bottle shape that many women (including me) would kill for....in all honestly it just looks like you need to make some dietary changes and start hard hitting it at the gym, consistently. If you're serious about the surgery though, I wish you the best of luck. You are giving Dr. Salama a nice canvas to work with and will most likely have excellent results, since you already have the desired body type. Keep us posted!!
Thank you, but I don't think working out will give me the voluptuous booty I really want. I do have hips and a coke bottle-ish shape but need a little assistance to get where I want :-)
I can totally relate. When I was in shape, I could hide most of my imperfections with my shape in clothes. But when I looked in the mirror without clothes on, I knew I wouldn't be totally happy with myself unless I got some surgical help - not to totally redo my whole body to the point where its unreal, but just to change some of the imperfections that I see and enhance what I do have.
