So great news.. I'm officially cleared for surgery !! I payed half of my surgery and the other half I'll pay cash on arrival.. I'm really getting nervous now .. 3 weeks and counting!!

Clearance letter!!
Hi guys , so labs.. Done! EKG .. Done!! I was having major problems getting my doctor to write me a clearance letter.. I booked an app and can u believe he refused, so booked another with a different doctor and thank the lord he did it as I no Dr. Salama won't perform surgery with out! So that's it, all done .. Now time to buy all my little bits and bobs I'll need, can any one suggest some must haves please [RS bleep] p.s super excited

I'm flying out from London to Miami on the 24th but i'm booked with DrOrtega! Ahhhh! Goodluck! Didn't you get a list emailed to you with all the must-haves from the clinic? If not, I'll copy and paste that list over to you :)

I noooo, so annoying, I paid £370.. The ekg was done on nhs and it was a nightmare to get them to do my clearance letter!!!
Bloody hell, i'll be flying out to america on the 6th August and my surgery is on the 25th August... My GP appointment is 1 week before i fly out :/ sounds like i'll probably be f****d with no medical clearance -.- good times
These GP back home and their nurses can be so unhelpful. In my case the nurses thought they had to control the surgery "borders" never told them I was having surgery abroad. And grateful that they did most the test for free
Glad all is cleared they make such a big fuss about things back home in the UK. You need big dresses darling and long to hide your drains you also get long maxi dresses but try and get dark colours because you will be oozing the first few days.
At the recovery house you can purchase a urinal for only $7 that is is God sent because the garment has very small opening

What did you say to the dr was your reason for wanting to have the tests done?! I have an appointment with my gp layer today. I'm unsure of what to say ! For that and my reason for wanting a blood test ?!
Good luck with your surgery!! Did your GP write your clearence letter, or did you get that from a privat doctor? Me and my girl are really struggling to get the letter.
Hay.. My first gp refused as he didn't want to b responsible should anything go wrong .. So I booked I contacted Elite and explained the situation and they emailed me a a letter explaining to the doctor that they jus want to no I'm in good health to go under. I booked another app with a different doctor and he did it for me thank god x. U jus got to get the right doctor I guess x good luck
