Exceptional results!

I am now at one year and a couple of months. I am still very happy with my results and my choice of doctor. I have a small amount of numbness beneath my jawline still which is not bothersome, in fact I just noticed it a few days ago. I will definitely call Dr. Afrooz again if I have any cosmetic surgery requests.

I have had two mini lifts in the past and finally realized that I needed to opt for something with more permanent results. I also knew that I needed to carefully choose a skilled surgeon. During my first consultation with Dr. Afrooz I was struck by his demeanor. He was very attentive, listened to my desired outcome, my concerns and my questions about recovery. He studied my face, manipulated my skin here and there and then with careful consideration answered all of my questions. He did not over promise and described what I could realistically expect. He also explained what he wanted to do to achieve optimum results which included upper blepharoplasty, a facelift and fat injections. I left without commitment because even though my instinct was telling me that I had found my doctor, I wanted to do my homework first. After some online research I discovered that he has years of extensive training, the best that our country has to offer. I also found that he teaches and writes for plastic surgery publications. I read reviews from previous patients, all five star. Lastly, I was encouraged by his youth. Besides being impressed by his accomplishments to date, I am happy to know that if in the future I would like to have another cosmetic procedure, I have a gifted doctor that will still be practicing, as in not retired. As for my procedure, I am so pleased with my results. Besides performing all of what I mentioned before, he also had to reconstruct my ear lobes and clean up the scarring left behind by another surgeon. Oh yes, and I had a little lipo to my belly as well. I’m not sure exactly how long I was in surgery but it was dark when I got there, early in the morning, and dark when I left that evening. I knew he took his time in making sure that everything was done perfectly. At 2 1/2 weeks my incisions are now healed and are mostly unnoticeable, with a little more time I’m certain they will be imperceptible. The smoker’s lines around my lips are gone, I have a jawline again, no more droopy eyelids, my double chin is gone and I have earlobes again. Not to mention the crows feet and smile lines are smoothed out. I still have a little swelling beneath my jawline but that will dissipate. The first four days or so of recovery was a little enduring. The drains were annoying and the eyelid stitches were itchy. I wasn’t in a lot of pain, mostly just weak and tired. My abdomen is still sore from the lipo but not excruciating, keep in mind I’m typing this at 2 1/2 weeks out. It just feels like I did a hundred sit ups. The results were evident immediately though. It is now flat and my lower tummy pouch is gone. In closing I just have to say that I am beyond pleased with the entire experience. I’m so glad I chose Dr. Afrooz and I recommend him without hesitation.
