I wasn't going to post anything as I have been...

I wasn't going to post anything as I have been trolling the site for awhile but I feel like I need to post. I am 48hrs post op, and honestly hasn't been as bad as expected. I'm uncomfortable but not in severe pain. Mainly, my faja has been very uncomfortable and had to cut some around my butt as it was indenting my skin. Worst part is laying on my stomach all the time.. Biggest advice is to MOVE around!! I have gotten up every 2-3hrs to move and I know that helps. First time taking the faja off wasn't that bad.. I am taking my pain medication about every 3-4 hours bc at 4 hrs, I'm feeling pain and just trying to avoid. I was dizzy twice but I haven't had any nausea or vomiting. I am eating fine and drinking a lot!! Now, the worse part is the peeing ????.. I have the ez pee thing and it helps but I leak sometimes and I hate having pee on my faja ????... Here are my 24hr post op photos... I'll keep y'all updated... Also, any advice on how to lay besides on stomach? It's sore from laying...

48hrs in

Feeling pretty good. Walked a lot today. I'm not swelling more, think it's going down. I'm draining less. Ive only peed on myself once today ????... Worst pain is like 3/10 and is at crack of butt where the faja thing is tight (I'm also 6ft tall so I don't think it's long enough and is pulling). And then on my ribs under my breast hurts but that's probably from laying on stomach etc. I'm drinking ally of Gatorade, had my second shower and I'm moving right along!!

Anyone here now with surgery?

Where are you staying?

Day 3...

Feeling pretty good.. Swelling is going down some.. First massage tomorrow.. Just still get tired easily... Backed off pain meds today...

My first massage

Ok ladies, that was rough. By far the worse part until now. I survived though and the massage therapist was incredibly nice and patient!! I still have not had a bowel movement but things are rumbling around & I'm taking my meds for it!! Not draining too much and swelling is less today! Overall still feel good!!

Day 4 photos

Been fine except the massage... Moving around more.. No poop still:/ Just quick shots...

First time sitting in modified chair!!

Here is the chair we cut so I could sit in!! Was nice to sit for a few minutes!

Updated photos

I am back home!! I finally pooped (day 9????)... Wasn't as bad as I was thinking it would be! I am hating my garment but I know I have to wear it.. It is sooo hot in it and the foam pad things are like insulation.. Both drains out and barely any drainage from site.. No pain (off pain meds), just uncomfortable mainly because of faja. Swelling is going down as the bruises are healing.

3 weeks post op

Whew, I'm not gonna lie, it's been rough. I'm getting massages twice weekly and they feel better! I'm exhausted still. I'm back at work and I'm tired by mid day. Not being able to sit is getting super old. I haven't slept well in weeks. This garment is awful and I'm hot as hell. I'm not in pain but my flanks burn randomly. I had one night I had intense itching that drove me crazy. Now for the positive side: my results look good so far. The fat transfer hasn't been awful but the liposuction has been rough! This garment is the pits.

So depressed, mycobacterium infection

3 months after surgery, i felt a hard lump on my right butt cheek, keep getting bigger. Ended up in ER, had cultured and was mycobacterium (still pending on what type). Now i have to see infectious disease and be on antibiotics for months. I feel two more spots that feel sore and i go for MRI tomorrow to see if they are abscesses as well. I love my results but i am so scared right now. Has anyone had this? What is your recovery?
Miami Plastic Surgeon

He was very realistic. He was honest and I felt very comfortable. I've only had a small amount of interaction with him but he told me everything I needed to know.
