Through out all my childhood and adult life I have...
Through out all my childhood and adult life I have been overweight. After having two kids I decided enough was enough and started getting serious about my lifestyle. I got a personal trainer and nutritionist. I began the journey at 213lbs and in 1.5 years I got down to 175 lbs. I’m 5’6 and my goal is to be 155 lbs. Strength training did tone my body however my butt was very small and I was a tree figure. I express to Dr. Alvarez that and he explained he could go aggressive with my lipo but didn’t promise me much curves because of my wide pelvic bone.
SX day. I figured that a c section was the worst surgery ever and I have had two so any surgery after date would be nothing. I WAS WRONG. I went into surgery super confident and came out dying. I was shivering for 4 hours and in deep pain. I seriously regretted the BBL that first day. Staying in Laly’s recovery house really helped because I don’t think I would have survived without professional help or at least people that understand what you are going through. Three meals were homemade plus snacks. Transportation to and from doctors’ appointments was also included.
The first week of recovery I did good. That same day of SX i was walking (barely) but I was trying. The second day I did much better and then after I’ve been doing great. I would describe the first week as being extremely sore and uncomfortable. I’ve been following all my recovery instructions. Im almost two weeks post op.
