Day 3 of 25% TCA Peel at home

The very next day I woke up with a little peeling around my chin and my forehead was really try. I slathered it on with lots of Eucerin lotion and went to work. By days end I had started to peel in thin sheets. I didn't take pics because the peeling was sparse and only around my chin. By Thursday, thanksgiving, my face nose was peeling in thin sheets and the peeling had spread outward around my eyes slowly towards the outer part of my cheeks - my forehead to hairline. The pictures shown are day 3 (Friday) where the flakiness has now spread to my cheeks and forehead. I'm a little disappointed to see only flaking. I was so scared to do a TCA peel from everything I had read (I researched like a mad scientist) and from the feel of the burn thought for sure I'd get a deeper peel than just flaking. Will wait out the remaining 10 days before choosing to do another as I need to schedule time off from work.

I'm almost 42, have 2 awesome little people and have gone thru quite a few changes in the past 3 years becoming a mom and moving across country time and again. I spent a LOT of years living in the sun... and now I'm doing everything to un-do the damage. I was excited and really scared of the outcome of using a TCA peel since I had planned on doing a Gycolic Peel originally. I had started using Tretinoin 3 weeks ago and have had 3 amazing peels while using Tretinion 3, maybe 4 days a week. Tonight I did my TCA peel and it really burned. I kept it on for 3 mins before washing it off with my water/baking soda concoction. The burning got worse and then faded. So far my skin is red and plump and tight. I have used quite a lot of Eurcerin lotion so that my skin will have a nice peel. Will update. OH! I chose to start my peel on Tuesday, 2 days before Thanksgiving. I'm taking Friday off of work so that I can hide out while I start peeling.
