Mother in Need of Brazilian Butt Lift
$6,745
Dr Ghavami is a great plastic surgeon it shows in his work, but I felt the need to write a review so people can understand how my consultation went. He charges 200$ just for a consultation! And literally seen me and left so quickly. I'm 5'3" and weigh 145.lbs and he said it would be 15,000 for a Brazilian butt lift! I was shocked, so I left and that was basically 200 wasted. I found a wonderful doctor who is charging me 7,000 for the same procedure and a bit more.

Re-Scheduled my surgery date.
So just days before my surgery I caught the flu and had to cancel my surgery date on March 19th :( I'm so bummed I was looking forward to my nice body already and I was mentally prepared. Now my new date is May 12th and I'll still be staying at beautycare. So countdown beings again :( 53 more days.

One week away!
Wondering if I should try and get some pain pills here to take to Mexico? Or should I just use the ones the doctor is gonna give me? Also I'm afraid of the nausea that the anesthesia is gonna give me! And the fact I have to have a spinal anesthesia! But ready for my body.

Baby girl if you know what works on your pain, bring it with you but tell Dr. C. that you plan to take it and ask if it's ok. This is not the time to be experimenting with stuff that "might" work on your pain. U.S. drugs are the good [RS bleep], bring em. Lol. Seriously though, I think he prescribes Tramadol. I had surgery in mx 7 years ago and I've also had Tramadol, it is not effective pain relief. You don't want to find that out when you're in pain.

March 12, 2015
Oh no! I don't know what tramadol is but I need Percocet! :( I don't want to be in so much pain. I'm having a TT and BBL are you getting spinal anesthesia too? Mine said I would get it in the quote they gave me. I'm kinda worried about that

Jazzy I want you to read what I said upthread about claiming faith not fear my love. Quick little story - when I had my only child, I was so anxious about the anticipation of the pain that I extended my labor by hours longer than it should've gone on. I'd BEEN ready to push, thought my midwife was on an as needs to know basis and hell I didn't think she needed to know. Lol. Well. I was so busy being worried about how much this was going to hurt that had I simply put my shoulders down and concentrated on the purpose not the pain, I would've been out of pain sooner. The clumsy point I'm making is there was pain, but trying to *outrun* it defeated the purpose (and it didn't work lol). In case you haven't gotten an answer to your question yet, all of the reviews I've read on Campos patients who talk about the anesthesia describe the method the same way. I don't want you to worry about that either, spinal anesthesia is a standard method used to immobilize you from about your abdomen down. It works immediately and in one shot, whereas an epidural also numbs you but you either are or can remain awake and may take several insertions. We're going to be given a colored pill (which I assume is the muscle relaxer) and then the insertion site and surgery sites will be swabbed in antibiotic ointment (it's called betadine) then you'll meet Dr. Whizar, he'll ask you to sit straight up and really still - by now that colored pill will be doing it's job so you won't have the option to be nervous lol. He will inject the anesthesia and ask you to lie back down. Then he'll tell you some really corny joke that you won't get to hear the punchline of, that's how fast the good [RS bleep] works lol. The very next time we talk about anesthesia it'll be when you're waking up from it. Know that all the dolls you've talked to in the last few weeks have gone through or are about to go through this right along side you darlin, you're going to be fine because your steps are already ordered oh and because you have to be, I need you to talk my ass down off the ledge when I go in 6 days after you lol. Muah!

sorry, forgot to add that everybody's different so I can't really speak to pain levels. I've had a tummy tuck before, you can move afterwards, but you'd rather not. BBL I have no idea girl, I'm reading everything I come across lol. I'm gonna bother you about that again right before I go in.

@allaboutthatbass thank you so much (: you seem to be the only one to reply to my questions lol! And you are so right! The recovery process has a lot to do with your mental thoughts! So thinking positive is what's good for you! I'm jealous I wish my surgery date was that close(: good luck! May God bless you through this surgery and journey to a better body and happier you. Please let me know how it goes once you are out of surgery(:
