Hello everyone! So my story starts when I wanted to get a nose job I did research about doctors mostly in this part of the world but i also wanted it to be a reasonable price so I started to look in mexico. I finally found Dr fuentes and what attracted me the most experience. I saw that on real self he had about 23 reviews on rhiniplasty and is a top doctor but I wanted more I couldn’t find much more other then a couple youtube videos but let me tell you this man has experience. He has 20 plus years and when I talked to him during consultation I asked him how many rhinoplasties he does and he said 6 to 7 a month. That is plenty of experience for anyone thinking about getting a nose job from him. On 4/25 I got my nose job I explained to him I wanted a hump reduction and slight tip rotation. The consultation in person lasted about 5min it was very fast because he knew what I wanted from the get go I just wanted to know that he was sure and to meet him in person. I only saw him once and that was during the consultation. Surgery day started at 7 am they prepped me up and gave me the whole low down on fasting the day before. Make sure you do that btw the longer you fast the better I stopped eating at 4pm the day before. Fasting lower blood pressure. So back to sticking me in the surgery room at 7am they gave me a pill to “relax” but I didn’t really get the point of that pill I took it and went into surgery 15min later. I didn’t even have enough time to digest it I’m sure it was something else but oh well haha I popped it. They then take me to the surgery room still haven’t seen Dr fuentes but oh well they then put me to sleep couple mins later. I then woke up with one of my kidneys gone. Relax, I am joking ha but I asked the nurse how surgery went and she said good. They took me to the recovery hotel which has badass food. They served me this stuff chicken breast and pasta for dinner and oatmeal in the morning. I only stayed one day to cut cost I was staying across the street at Riviera inn. In the hotel I got up and looked in the mirror and my nose looked awesome I think he did a really good job just seeing it through the cast I cant really give any for sure details yet but I can see it through my cast and it is day 6 and I really like my nose. Day 3 was the worst swelling I don’t bruise much or swell I have played football for many years and never really bruised so I had absolutely no bruising in my face I was surprised because day 3 was the worst it got for me. My face was puffed but that was normal. Dr fuentes knows what he is doing and if you are thinking about going to Mexico for a nose job or any surgery Dr fuentes is one of the best in Mexico. He is an artist at what he does and he truly cares about making you happy and giving you what you want. Tomorrow I will see my nose with cast off and I am sure ill like it and I will come back here and update this post. The worst part about this whole thing was the Riviera inn across the street. They let me walk there on day 2 I had to convince the lady I was good because I was. I took no pain killers the whole time I was in no pain whatsoever. Back to the Riviera inn…when you travel WiFi is a must and Riviera inn does not have good wifi the worst part about this trip is sitting in my motel and not being able to do anything stuck in bed with no wifi. I recommend, I highly recommend you stay down the street there is another hotel I will be moving to tomorrow its 10 dollars more a night but I am sure they have better wifi or wifi I can actually connect to. Also I slept well the first couple of nights I would think I would’ve had a problem but nope. Let me tell you the things you will need for your trip that you will maybe forget. Chap stick or coconut oil, you are only able to breathe through your mouth, this drys out your lips and throat. You’ll thank me later. Food, especially if your traveling by yourself because you aren’t wanna go out and get food until day 3 or 4. I have a shaker that’s automatic for 9 bucks and powder meal replacement garden of life raw organic meal you can get on amazon. It is very healthy and aids in healing. You also want to purchase vitamin C just to help with the healing process. Load up on food and water the day before. I have been eating at this badass Lebanese restaurant next to Riviera inn it’s a must go to. I walk around the street with my whole cast on and its day 6 and I’m about to go to the movies lol I don’t really care what people think I def get some weird stares. Also the hotel only takes cash. Dr Juan Carlos Fuentes, thank you for giving me a badass nose!! Everyone in my entire life told me not to get a nose job because I think they are scared itll end up like Michael Jackson but hey if you look at yourself in the mirror and want to change something then go do it. Its 2018 surgeons are skilled yeah there are horror stories but if your thinking about doing a rhinoplasty go to Dr. Fuentes. I will post pics whenever I get wifi and will finalize this post when my cast is off. It will only be a 50% viewpoint when cast is off because of swelling most people see the actual results 1 to 3 months out. A lot changes in that time frame and I will continue to update this post. Realself has been a lifesaver for me so I owe one to realself. Thanks. Update cast was off and I loved it and I know the swelling will only make it look better. Above my upper lip my columella is still swollen so it is kind of hanging down in the picture.
