WORTH IT
Dr. Black was recommended to me by two family members both of whom are happy with their results. Any anxiety that I had about choosing the right plastic surgeon faded the moment I met Dr. Black. She made me feel comfortable like no other doctor ever has. She and her office were very accommodating when my surgery had to be pushed back as well as after the surgery for post-op check ups. Moreover, she is a gifted surgeon who gave me exactly what we discussed. I love my results and will not hesitate to recommend her to friends, family, and strangers alike!

I have an consult appt with Dr.Black next Tuesday for a breastudent lift. Any advice... certain questions, recovery, any help would be greatly appreciated.?
I did a lot of research beforehand and was aware of the possible risks and complications going into this type surgery. Dr. Black and I reviewed those risks. I think the most important thing to talk about with any doctor is the result you want. I wasn't sure what size I wanted to be - starting from a 36 G to somewhere between a D or C. Dr. Black and I talked a lot about proportions and we looked at different results/pictures. In the end, we decided a D would suit my body shape better. There were even other things she mentioned that I didn't consider, such as nipple placement. As far as recovery goes, it wasn't too bad in terms of pain. The worst part was I had a bad headache for about a week afterwards, but Dr. Black and I stayed in contact and she even took my drains out early. Now that I'm three months out, I would say that my breasts are not as high as they used to be immediately post surgery with all the swelling but overall I remain realistic and happy. I feel the way I think I was supposed to feel from the start. My breasts, the added weight both emotional and physical, are no longer an issue that I have to deal with.
Thank you so much for all your advice!
