5 yrs post op

Hi, guys just wanted to give final update, this is 5 yrs afterwards. This is after all swelling and healing is done. I do feel he used too much cartilage but based on the before he did a great job, I will be getting another rhinoplasty but in Turkey to reduce alar, and narrow bridge.

Now your going to spend More money in Turkey???....wuts the point!
When I originally got the rhino we both agreed to keep it more ethnic. Now I want it more European, if I could go back in time I would make him do it European instead
I mean i cant blame her. If i was in her shoes i would want a different doctor to revise my nose too. Yes this job did not produce good results but if she finds the right doctor it can be improved and possibly made to look good on her face. The point is now im sure she is not happy with what she got
Imo, not that it matters, European would not look good on u because your nose is not made to be European. Remember a surgeon does not create a new nose but rather sculpts a nose out of what he already has to work with. That being said you can achieve a better result in the right hands and i hope u get what u desire in the end
IMO you shouldn’t try to make it “more European” because it would just look too unnatural. It’s too bad ppl don’t just want to improve but actually change their origins and characteristic features.
I agree with u. Sometimes its hard to accept when u wish for something you cannot have. By the way you have a beautiful face and a cute nose ;)

Almost 5 months post op

So its been about 5 months since the surgery. At my last Dr visit (almost a month ago), he had me to start massaging the tip. Im supposed to do that for about 3 months, (until my next follow-up) to help the swelling go down. I don't feel like it helps, more than anything I feel it make it look more swollen right afterwards. The tip still doesn't feel like my nose. It isn't numb or anything, it just feels like I'm touching someone else nose because its so hard. As of right now i love the look of my nose but i think the tip is a little big. Of course I won't see the full results 12 months for bridge and 18 months for tip. Hopefully I love the final results and won't have to go again lol

Hey, I've been following your progress for some time now. I just got my rhinoplasty and chin implant 5 days ago I'm in the early stages of recovery. Seeing AA women like yourself but their journey out here on RS helped me make the decision to share my journey as well. So thank you :) Are are beautiful and I'm glad you like your new nose. I think the tip will get smaller and smaller over time. I've learned that I'm going to have to learn patience through this process lol and it's only been 5 days post-op haha. I look forward to being 5 months like you :).
Thank you so much. I will continue to update until the final result
Very pretty and will only get prettier! Congrats!
