No big updates

No big changes since I've last updated. It's now been about 10 weeks or a little longer since the operation. I am feeling great and back to feeling like myself. I've been putting Biooil on my scares twice and day and they seem to be healing well with no issues. My stomach has gone down a bit and I've lost about 2to3 more lbs since my last update (holiday season was brutal).

Week 6 Update

Greetings and Happy Holidays to anyone reading this post. I went for my 6 week update (almost 6 weeks) and had a very good visit with the doctor. He was pleased with my healing and has released me to go back to normal activities. I can't wait to get back into the gym and Zumba. The holiday season has been hard for me to reach my goal of 20 lbs down by NYs but I'm trying hard to reach it. Three areas of concern thayg were addressed:
1. Slow healing of t-spot on left breast. I had issues with leakage for a few weeks but I started putting Neosporin on the wound and it's healing up great. He told me to let it dry for a couple weeks and start scar care (cocoa butter, biooil, etc)
2. Smelly belly button - so my son Went to hug me (3yrs old - waist level)and yelled oh mommy stank. I thoight wahat was the wounf under my breast giving off an order but turned out to be my belly button. I thought I was throughly cleaning the wound from Lipo during bathes but it just need a little extra TLC. So I've been cleaning with q-tips and peroxide. I doesn't hurt not is it giving off any access fluids to indicate infection.
3. Keloids- so if you read my earlier post I thought I was beginning to keloid under my right arm incision where I had extra breast tissue removed. I am happy to announce that the swelling has gone down and has not turned into a keloid. The Dr says that I do not show signs of scaring and sees my recovery as favorable.

The doctor measured my stomach and I've lost a total of 7" from my entire waist line and he expects more after swelling goes down and additional weight loss is complete. I have an appt scheduled in 6 months but will try to keep all posted each month on my progress. Please feel free to ask me any questions.

Faja came in...

Very comfortable. Both a 3x and fits great. I am on the first hook.

Dr Lindsey was very knowledgeable, patient, and willing to answer all my questions. He acknowledged that the tissue under my arms were not supposed to be there without make me feel like a freak of nature. He commended I come down to a full C.
