Words cannot describe how amazing my breast augmentation experience with Dr. Messa has been. I am one week post op today and my breasts look better than most people I know. I am 20 years olds, 5'11, and my breasts barely filled an A cup. I am now a small C with 375 CC silicone implant. I was also a patient coming from out of town, and his surgery coordinator was so impressive with how quickly she returned my many phone calls and emails throughout the entire process (I think I talked to her at least once a week). She never made me feel like a burden and she was so patient and willing to work around my busy school schedule as I am a full time pre med student. I made the first phone call to his office on May 15th and had my surgery less than a month after on June 13th. The nurses called and went over every preoperative detail with me very diligently to ensure the best outcome for my surgery which helped calmed my nerves tremendously. When I arrived in Weston, I met with Dr. Messa the day before surgery and during the entire pre op opponent he never lost eye contact with me and he was so focused on everything I was expressing to him about how I wanted my breast to look. Not only Dr. Messa, but his entire staff as well were so kind and genuinely shared my enthusiasm about my breast augmentation even though they probably see at least five people just like me every day. The day of surgery I was very nervous about the IV because I am squeamish around needles. I felt nauseous after the IV began and immediately Dr. Messa came into the room, leaned me back in the chair, and tended to me, even giving me an alcohol wipe to smell. He remained by my side until my heart rate lowered and I felt better within minutes. He showed such a concern about my wellbeing ( mind you I was just nauseous) and from that moment forward all my nerves disappeared andI really trusted him and his team to take good care of me during the procedure. My boyfriend took care of me for the week that I was in Weston and the nurses were so kind to him and he felt comfortable calling them with any questions he had. After surgery, I stayed in recovery for a decent amount of time and never felt rushed to leave (I actually wanted to leave sooner than the nurse would let me). My breats are healing SO good and I'm shocked with how amazing they look just one week after surgery. I was torn between Dr. Messa and some other well known "celebrity" plastic surgeons in the Miami area, and I cannot stress enough how happy I am that I decided to go with Dr. Messa. I cannot wait to go back down to Weston and meet with him in a few months to assess my process. BEST DOCTOR EVER.
