Dr Steve Merten, has been by far the most professional, friendly and understanding surgeon I have ever dealt with. Dr Merten was knowledgeable on all aspects of my surgery, explained things well to me, he was realistic, not pushy and always realistic about the results I could expect, not trying to sell me something like a used car salesman and he never pretending he could make a Ferrari out of a Honda Civic, my results are wonderful however, I am happy! Dr Merten was always respectful and a gentleman. He has also followed up my recovery various times and continues to follow up. My scars are already fading and my body has been completely transformed from a tubby lady, into a much more beautiful figure and just as important, an even stronger stomach, which has also reduced back pain that I used to suffer. The health benefits are a big PLUS! The lovely two ladies at the front desk always greet you with big, lovely smiles, so friendly and always getting back to me quickly with my questions or bookings. I have an underlying genetic condition, which Dr Merten worked around to make sure I would get safe and good results, which also included him using an extremely competent anaesthetist, Fergus Davidson who was able to manage my complicated condition well and made me feel in very safe and secure hands and working alongside a hernia repair specialist. The anaesthetist also followed up on my progress after the surgery. I really cannot recommend Dr Merten and the anaesthetist he works with enough. I will be recommending them to everybody I know and I would definitely go back to Dr Merten again, shall I require any further surgery. Thank you for everything!
