I have had 4 children and all of them were c-sections. My baby is now 13 and I am sick of the skin that hangs over my scar and all the loose skin above it. I am 42 and ready to finally be happy with my stomach and body.

I am 2 days from surgery and both excited and nervous. I think at this point I just want it over, probably over prepared. I am cooking 20 meals today to put on the freezer for the fam. My husband leaves on June 17th to climb a mountain in Ecuador so I think the meals will help me too later in June. That way my 13 yr old can throw them in the oven. Didn't get the recliner but got stuff to sit very upright in my own bed and a bed tray that has spot to put stuff. Thanks to everyone for posting your PO stories it has helped me feel more prepared for what is to come. Before pic coming tomorrow.

wow, your belly looks terrific! I didn't have a recliner and I was fine. One thing I have learned from this; the more you tough it out, the faster your recovery. If you use those abs to get in and out of bed (carefully!) they regain their strength faster. Happy healing!

Day 8 PO got out one drain and the stitches in my BB. Drain coming out didn't hurt just an odd sensation. I feel really good today and my PS said it looked really good and I should try to start walking as upright as I can. Getting the other drain out next Monday even thought it was ready, due to her going out of town this weekend and she didn't want something to happen and I get it tapped over the weekend for to much fluid build up, so I understand even though I wish she would of. Happy with my results so far as is my PS, she was impressed with my recovery and the look of my incision. Still swollen and feel tight especially around my BB but sleeping with less pillows and on my sides more. Lipo is bruised still and tender but not as bad as I expected. my back and hips hurt the worst mostly at night so she changed me muscle relaxants for bed time instead of percocet. So hopefully I can get past the constipation and stool softeners soon. Had a glass of wine last night and actually ate a meal for lunch today instead of a few bites. each day gets better so hoping when I go back to work next Wed I will survive a 5hr shift out of my normal 11hrs.
