Horrible outcome...In trusted Dr. Aldea but he lied and did not perform what he said in consaltation. If he thought I was too obese them why perform poorly?? He told me that I would have an more of an hourglass figure and now I have a muffin top. I mean he talked so well and persuasive during consultation and told me that I would be a great candidate for a TT..after he performed the TT he told me I was a huge woman too obese and that I needed to lose weight in which this was not stress in such a powerful manner in consultation... He came to visit me in the hospital and strongly stated I was obese and point to the tuna fish I had just eaten and critizied the food I ate and all I ate bland tuna which was good to me by he called it crappy and he would not feed his pts this while I was hospitalized in st. Francis hospital.. He made me feel very depressed... I just made known that I did not like my muffin top. I was there because I developed a seroma on my right side.... He told me ifni did not like him I could fire him and he will walk right out my room... I was speechless and hurt . I paid 7000.00 And I feel like he should have kept his word.

Oh my Gosh girl! Sounds like he wasn't doing his job! I really considered him since he was listed as an expert on realself. I couldn't find any pictures of his work and he doesn't post them on his website. I will steer clear of this doctor.

Oh wow, I hate that for you! His wife Dr. Eby did my TT & I had great results & her bedside manners were totally the opposite of his! You can read my review on her if you'd like!

Sorry this happened to you but I've seen obese patient have the best outcomes. Some of these plastic surgeons are not board certified and full of s***. Once they get your money they don't care anymore which is very sad. If we hold these doctors accountable for their actions maybe some of this cases wouldn't happen. I hope you get the results you were looking for.

I have been praying and asking God for Guidance, at the same time knowing my surgeon should be honest and fair with my treatment. What if it was his daughter or wife. People fail to realize what goes around comes around. I have gotten a second opinion and he told the TRUTH....I WON'T SHARE WHAT HE SAID AT THIS TIME...TO BE CONTINUED....

I am so sorry that your results were not as you expected them to be. I have had two surgeries with Dr. Aldea and found him to be very honest and straight forward in his dealings with me. I had a Fleur-de-lis Tummy Tuck and hernia repair in my first surgery and 11 months later had a butt and thigh lift to finish off my LBL. I am very pleased with my outcome. I still have some excess "muffin top" when I sit down but am please with the outcome when I stand. You are probably dealing with a lot of swelling right now and your muffin top is more pronounced during the first 6-8 weeks. It can sometimes take up to 3-6 months for our actually true shape to take place. I had WLS originally and lost about 150 lbs so I had a lot of excessive skin. I do not know what your weight was but I have many friends on Obesity Help that have had this surgery weighing anywhere from 180-200 lbs. I had my surgery weighting in at 156 lbs. I hope that you will give you body a little more time to heal and let the swelling go down. If you do not get the results that you want then talk with Dr. Aldea about a revision or someone else if you no longer feel that he can meet your needs. I could not imagine anyone else doing a better job for me than Dr. Aldea. Again, so sorry for your issues.

Thank you Tess....although its not or responsibility to apologize for surgeon, who in consultation promised me different results then I have. I mean to whole purpose of me getting a TT was to be flat and be able to look down and see my Mons without holding my stomach in or up.... I still can't do that! Lol. He already told me that it may be a Lil swell in but 80 percent is FAT. Why do I still have that much fat is all I want to know and I not half as big as a lot of woman I HV seen and they are as flat and look beautiful, but he did not perform their surgery. I'm Sorry if anyone is offend but I feel it is necessary to be honest and real about my experience! I am not a smoker I don't do drugs and my eating habits are much better even before the surgery. I am not over 200lbs and I am 5`7. Paying $7000.00 I and anyone else deserves to get what they paid for and told during consultation... Thank for our reply oh he did tell me it was fixable.

He also performed my tummy tuck and did an OUTSTANDING job. But I know personally that you did not follow his post open diet and activity instructions nor did you give yourself time to heal for the true results to reveal themselves. Now you'really trying to slander this distinguished physician. He can't be your nanny, your maid, or your personal assistant post op. He did his job, but you didn't do yours. Nurture your healing process with healthy food choices, lots of water and rest. vacuuming your floor and picking up your 1 and 2 year old children were not part of his post op instructions

Sonita these are untrue statements...you need to look up slander honey...it is stating untrue statement and rumors about a person...everything I have posted is true. I was using a hand vacuum and I never picked up my babies. I order food for my family because I am sure that they dont want to eat chicken broth and noddle soup and yogurt like I did....I did everything dr aldea told me to...yes I at tuna in the hospital and that is good for full of protein which aids in the healing process.. so before you get on here and slander me gather ur facts...u only came one time to visit me at my home and my husband took a week off work to care for so why should I have to pick up my babies. I know how to use correct bodu mechanics while doing anything so what u are saying to me is slander maam. I have no personal issue with Dr. ADLEA but it is my right to state the truth and make known my opinion....these reviews are to give encoraging feedback not come on her and slander anyone. Thank You!!!

Im so sorry to hear about your experience. I think you have every right to express what you're feeling. If u didnt get what u paid for. Just because he was good to someone else doesnt mean he did his best for you, especially if u went in with the understanding you'd have a flat belly when youbwere finished.
I'm 3 weeks post op and my swelling is continuing to go down ,i too have been upset about my results. Ive noticed keeping the belt on and massaging my own belly helps dispell the fluid. My surgeon didnt lipo my sides the way i thought he would per our conversation. But the rubbing plus the band is molding my figure. Hopefully this will help. Also i keep neosporin on my incision and its co stantly healing and getting smaller and lighter.. the scab has come off and isnt as dark. Looks brown like the rest of me.
