Consult went great. Dr. Dan Shell and staff were very informative and caring. Procedure schedule for Nov. 29, 2016. Any informative info on how to prepare is gratefully appreciated. After countless attempts I came to the conclusion that my stomach was not going back flat and my hips where not getting tighter, so I decide to do some research and here I am after 3 different consult I'm going with Dr. Shell.

Great choice, I had surgery on yesterday. Everything went well. I'm not sure about my scar because I have not looked at it, I have an appointment on Monday so I'm patiently waiting until then. Pain is tolerable so far as I take my meds every 4 hours faithfully! Best wishes with your procedure.

Hi Eva did you have a certain schedule set up to walk, and how long were you hunched over? Also did you have a problem peeing? Sorry so many questions.

Had my surgery on yesterday. PS and Hospital staff said everything went great, but I have made it home and have the urge to pee, but nothing is coming out. Is this normal or has anyone experienced this.

This process is no joke, I currently don't know what my tummy look like because I'll still wrap up from surgery. I was told to not remove banages as they will be removed on Wednesday during my first post open visit.

Don't be sorry about asking questions -- that's why we are here! I'm not much help, though, as I've never had the surgery. Kimmers25 (your Community Manager) has and would be able to provide you with some feedback. I'll be sure she connects with you soon. :) In the meantime, I did find the following information that you might find helpful: How Long Will It Take to Walk Straight Again After a Tummy Tuck?
Urination + Tummy Tuck
Hello:)
You need to find the proper balance for walking as resting. Walking is really good for the healing process and prevents you from having fluid build up. Start with a short 15 minute walk and gradually increase that each day. You will notice this helps your back as well. Also try massaging your lower back and this will help relax the muscles. I was honestly hunched over for about 3-4 weeks.
Just hang in there and it will get easier, I promise. This is a super long recovery and it takes endless patience. Let me know if you have any questions as I am always here for you.
