Hi! I am a 32y.o. mother of 2 and recently divorced. I have decided that I'm ready to focus more on myself after being in a horrible marriage for 5 years. I had weight loss surgery 2 years ago and have lost over 120lbs. I am now ready to move forward and complete my transformation with a TT and BA. I have been researching these 2 procedures since last summer. I had decided on 1 surgeon, but started having second thoughts about her and have another consultation scheduled on 1/22/14. I am so scared about having surgery. Of course I have fears of complications but I am more fearful of the pain. I have so many questions for the PS on the 22nd. I already have a date in mind that I want to get this done, so hopefully it will all work out. Will keep you posted.

I have been on real self
I have been on real self every day since I discovered this website. I am loving all the stories and looking at everyone's before and after pics. I cant wait to be able to show my after journey. Oh btw, I am 5'7 and 167lbs currently. I am still working on my weight loss and would like to be in the 155lb range when I have my surgery. Will post pics of myself before my weight loss so everyone can see how far I've come.

You look amazing! even with the lap band, it still requires lifestyle changes that aren't always easy to make and maintain so congrats on your weight loss. Thats a big accomplishment. Elective surgeries are hard but it is important that you connect with your PS, so I am glad that you are consulting with someone else. You will know when it's a good fit. Take your time and do what is best for you! Please keep us posted.

Thanks so much! I totally agree with u. Elective surgery is a huge deal and a lot of money and I want to be completely comfortable and confident in my PS, which is why I'm having another consultation. I would be so disappointed if it didn't turn out the way I wanted because I jumped too quickly. Thanks for the encouragement and I'll definitely keep u all posted.
