I originally went to Dr. Patricia Eby in 2020 to simply inquire if I needed to replace my saline breast implants due to age of implants that I have had for 28 years at the time. I wasn’t having any problems and all still looked good. She examined me and we discussed how I felt about them currently and after our conversation she stated that “if its not broke, just leave as is”. I left feeling relieved. As well, I was pleased by her genuine care and the time she took with me. Fast forward to 2025. Due to a recent mammogram that was extremely painful and left me sore for a week, I started noticing a hardness in the right side and the left side felt squishy. I decided to return to Dr Eby. It was obvious by the day of my appointment I was losing volume in the left implant and was having a slow leak due to the mammogram gone bad. After examination she was able to help me carefully make the best solution for the silicone implants size/placement and other considerations due to my own personal size and scheduled me in for surgery 2 weeks later. I returned a few days later to complete the paperwork and receive all my organized instructions and prescriptions in advance. I’m very impressed with the organization of the office and the input they provide you in order to prepare you for your surgery. Finally surgery day is here. Upon checking into the surgery center, and being prepped, Dr Eby arrived for final discussion. I knew I was somewhat of a challenge for fitting of my moderate side implants due to the very low volume of natural breast tissue due to my leanness, but Dr Eby said she loved a challenge. In fact, she stated she had given it much consideration on performing this surgery prior to my actual surgery date! I am currently 2 weeks and 2 days post-surgery and I am so amazed at the result. I have never had such natural looking contoured breasts. I have no doubt it’s the effort and time she took with me to help me achieve this successful surgery. I highly recommend Dr Eby. I also appreciate office staff member Lily who is responsible for assisting in questions, follow-ups, etc. She even kept me in the loop after office hours. Plastic surgery does involve so much and requires careful observation regardless of hour or day. Dr Eby and Lily both provided me that type of support. The best care team that goes above and beyond.....professional, caring, highly skilled, great listener!
From the very first visit through post operative care, Dr. Eby was fantastic. I am grateful that I found her. Everything was easy and recovery was unremarkable- the best kind ever! I highly recommend her.
I am 8 weeks post-op from my breast reduction with Dr. Eby, and I couldn’t be happier! From the moment I walked into her office, I felt truly heard and cared for. Dr. Eby took the time to answer all my questions and set clear expectations, which made the entire process feel seamless. The recovery has been surprisingly easy. I experienced minimal discomfort—definitely more uncomfortable than painful. By day four, I was only taking Tylenol, and I made sure to follow her post-op protocol of walking, staying hydrated, and maintaining a high-protein diet. The immediate relief I felt after waking up from surgery was incredible; I went from a 32J to a DD and no longer experience neck or back pain. I can stand up straight and feel like a new person! My self esteem has skyrocketed. I haven't felt this good in years. What really stood out to me was the level of care at the surgery center. Every nurse and staff member I encountered spoke highly of Dr. Eby, and it was evident that she is their go-to recommendation for breast surgery. Even during my cardiac clearance, the doctor mentioned how highly regarded Dr. Eby is, which only added to my confidence in her.Overall, I’m beyond grateful for Dr. Eby’s expertise and compassionate care. If you’re considering a breast reduction, I can’t recommend her highly enough! Thank you, Dr. Eby, for changing my life!
Dr. Eby is an amazing surgeon. From the first consultation to surgery to follow up appointment. When I walked in to my consult and told her what i was looking for she immediately knew what to do and what was best. The day of surgery she explained everything that she was going to do and she made sure everything was perfect. She is an artist of her craft. The recovery has been easier than I thought and I believe it is because of Dr. Eby. At my first post op check up she made sure everything was healing correctly and truly admired her work. You can tell she takes pride in what she does.
I highly recommend Dr. Eby!!! She is an excellent surgeon! She made me feel comfortable and understood my concerns and goals from the very start at my consultation day with her and that was huge for me from the start, to be heard and understood. Dr. Eby was always personable and kind with all our interactions. She was very thorough and detailed with expectations for both preoperative and postoperative instructions. I'll never forget in recovery for a split second that when I opened my eyes, she was talking to me about how everything went well and showing me pictures... I felt an overwhelming joy and couldn't help but catch hold of her arm and thank her so so much for making a difference in my life and that I was on the other side of recovery and a healthier me!!! I had an explant and a lift, and she did such an AMAZING job! I couldn't be more in love with the results!!! She honestly exceeded expectations and I genuinely feel more confident now than I ever have before! She is so skilled at what she does - I wish I had found Dr. Eby sooner, but I know that this was supposed to happen how it did, regardless. In addition, Lilly and Gail, the front desk receptionists, were very thorough and kind themselves throughout every visit, follow-up, and post-op checking in on me and my progress, which was so special as well!! Should I ever need another surgery, I would consult with Dr. Eby. I am so grateful for Dr. Eby and will always recommend her because of her excellent bedside manner, her compassion for what she does, and her ability to deliver results! I LOVE my results! Thank you Dr. Eby!!!
I had a breast lift and augmentation in May by Dr. Eby. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her! She is thorough, caring, kind and a true expert at what she does. I’ve never been happier! I love my new breasts!! They are so natural looking…and feel great. If you are looking to have a breast augmentation, Dr. Eby is your lady!! You will be in the best hands!! She is so good at what she does. I have much respect for her not only as a doctor/surgeon, but who she is in general. I adore her and am forever grateful! Thank you Dr. Eby and staff too. Lily, the office manager was wonderful and readily available for any questions/concerns. Just a phone call a way. A wonderful experience full circle!
Dr. Eby is amazing. From start to finish she’s made me feel important. I felt heard. Which is so important. I was scared about not receiving the typical narcotic pain medication but am so glad I trusted her. I was up messing around in the house the next day. I haven’t felt anything other than some discomfort. It makes me wonder if any of my previous doctors actually “needed” to prescribe me narcotics. Dr. Eby is the only cosmetic surgeon I will go to. I absolutely love her professionalism and bedside manner.
Dr.Eby is awesome I’m so glad I found her to be my surgeon I had a boob augmentation done she is very knowledgeable and knows what she is doing she takes her time and make sure you knows exactly what you want ahead of time. Thank You So Much Dr.Eby for taking good care of me as your patient you’re the best :)
Dr Eby is a very caring doctor and very skilled at what she does . I had my implants changed out from over the muscle to under with a lift and internal mesh . She made me feel comfortable and did an excellent job . She was highly recommended and I understand why . I am happy with the results.
Dr. Eby and her staff are amazing! I had my breast implants removed, and I love my results. She is extremely understanding and listens to make sure you feel comfortable before, during, and after surgery. I am so thankful I found Dr. Eby.
I hope you realize that the term BEST does not apply in Medicine. Unlike sports, we do not have races or contests in which hundreds of noses or Face lifts are done at the same time in elimination bouts. Fame as "the Best" is usually generated with a lot of money spent on PR agents who constantly "place and pitch" you to media outlets. You probably have very good surgeons in the UK who did not seek the limelight and are just as competent as some of the more famous surgeons. On the other hand, some in our ranks have become known for lecturing extensively on certain topics and have become THE go to people in that area. When it comes to Revision Rhinoplasty - Dr. Jack Gunther of Dallas is one of the best in the world. He takes on some of the worst cases and many doctors see him for their nose surgeries. Dr. P. Aldea
As you realize advice by mail is not as accurate as advice in person, however you gave some very useful information. As a tall woman going from a barely B to a medium C you will require more volume than the average 5' 4" woman. Although I never promise a cup size, it does allow communicaton to understand how big you want to go. I like to know your nipple to inframammary fold distance as well as the BWD because it allows me to assess your skin envelope. With your BWD of 14 cm, I would probably choose an implant with a base diameter approximately 13 cm so your breast drapes over the implant even if it is under the muscle. That leads me to the approximate size of a high profile 400 cc silicone implant or a moderate plus profile saline implant filled to approximately 400 cc. Best wishes for a successful surgery!
Hi Mirrors, Without a physical examination in which I could asses you breast skin tone, laxity and size, any discussion is purely conjectural and could not possibly super cede what your surgeon told you. However, let me share my philosophy regarding your situation. No breast implant is perfect. They all have positive and negative attributes. As such we need to know when we can push the envelope (no pun intended) and when not. In general, in women such as yourself with a paucity of breast tissue (IE not much to cover the implant and its ripples), I would prefer to go sub muscular NOT sub glandular. The muscle will cover the top of the implant and give one more layer over the ripples ALL implants have (silicone gel LESS than saline). Anatomical / tear shaped implants are usually textured (less movement in pocket / more rippling / earlier leaking) and come in both saline and gel. A few of them come short. Others the Tebbetts designed Meghan/Allergan 468 are full length - so without knowing WHICH implants your surgeon is referring to, I cannot comment on your / his choice. Cup sizes are a notoriously inaccurate way to communicate since they vary between one manufacturer to another. Moreover, the EVENTUAL breast volume would depend on the breast volume you have now AND the projection and base of the implants impacting the added volume after the surgery. IN GENERAL, 300 cc - 350 cc implants will get you into the mid to full C range.
