So I had breast augmentation on may 22. I went from 34b and had 400 cc silicone implants placed under the muscle. Today I'm 5 days post op and my boobs are very high up in my chest. My chest is very tight. Is this normal. I go for my follow up tomorrow. I expected nice full boobs at this point. Is this not realistic?

BA 11days post op!
Wow how 11 days makes a difference! I have been sleeping better at night the past prob the past 3 nights. I was on the couch the first week, but wanted to get back in bed with the hubs! Getting comfortable in the bed has been a challenge. Lots of pillows is all I can say! I think I will post my 1 week picture today. It shows the girls very high and tight. On Wednesday or so I will post my 2 week post op picture. I need to ask my doctor for my before picture cause I didn't take one. I probably do have one somewhere of a crazy/fun night though!! I went from a 34b at ht 5'2" 125lbs to not sure yet but I asked for a full C! I got 400cc silicone gel mentor moderate plus profile's. They were placed in the crease!! My incision looks great and healing well. My stitches were removed on day 6. My PS placed a steri strip over incision.
I am feeling so so much better! The tightness in the upper chest has gotten better! I can breath again! Still having spasms or contractions in the upper chest though. They are not as bad as they were .
I am so ready for these girls to drop and look like I imagined! My husbands is ready for his turn with them too! Lol

I'm about 7 weeks out and still sit a bit high. At my last post op appt(@ 3 weeks) my surgeon was not at all surprised. Everyone's body is different. though my boobs are still a little higher I have taken pics almost weekly the first few weeks and will continue to take monthly pics. It helps so much to see the visual comparison!
Take care:-)

Congratulations! Yes, it takes weeks sometimes months for the final results. Hang in there and be patient. Did your PS suggest anything else at your post op appointment to help them drop more quickly? Thank you for sharing your story on RealSelf!
