So I have spent alot of time on this site...

So I have spent alot of time on this site gathering info and commenting here and there. I am 28 years old and I am a mother of 4. I finally decided to take the plunge in December. My first consultation was horrible. The dr whom I will not name was unprofessional abd then I found out he wasnt even licensed and just took a Weekend class to learn to do boob jobs. Boy am I glad I dodged that bullet! My second consult was in January 3 days after my 28th birthday. I fell in love with Dr. WAllace and his assistant Julie. He was actually licensensed and seemed very knowledgeable. He told me to take time and really think about if I really wanted to go forth! I decided to go with it after my kids biryhdays. My surgery was paid in full and scheduled for April 10, 2013. I prepared and was so ready for everything but when I got to the surgery center and they checked my pressure I was made aware of the fact i had undiagnosed hypertension. Of course I cried and cried I think more from not getting my boobies than anything. My surgery was rescheduled for May 8 2013. It felt like forever waiting on the day to come!!
The PS decided on 500cc High Profile smooth round implants for me through the crease incision. Throughout the course of the month waiting I got my bp under control and better prepared for syrgery on the home front !
Surgery morning was so exciting for me. I remember hubby and I checking in. I got dressed in the hown, footies, and shiwer cap thing lol. They put me in a very warm bed. Omg it felt like heaven, The anesthesiologist came and talked to me. Then after an hr....yes it was forever Dr. Wallace talked to me and drew on me. 500 cc for my right side and 475 for the right. I was soooooooooo excited I was sinhimg Beyonce as they rolled me back. I was making the nurses laugh. Before they put me to sleep I said pleeeeassseeeee count to me make sure im ok ! I woke up screaming and crying. The pain was unbearable! It took 2 hours to get me up. I kept falling asleep. I remember them trying to give me sprite and I refused cause I dont drink carbonated beverages. I kepy telling them I had to throw up. Bt I never did. My dr didnt wrap me so I saw my boobs as soon as hubby brought me home. The first two days were hell. I popped pills lon schefule to make sure I slept the whole time. The weekend was kind of a blur too. Sunday was the furst day I could function and actually I was 80% I went to Target. Monday was good and today ...6 days post op was good. My boobs are oddly soft and squishy and have been since day 1. I can raise my hands over my head and im down to one pain pill at bedtime. This was a wonderful decision ! If I had to make it again I would. I loce my boobies. My post op is Thursday and I cant wait to see what my dr has to say.

Post op appt went well :)
Today I had my Post op appt. He said everything is looking good my glue should fall off in the next week. They are dropping nicely and he thinks I will see my final results at 3 months Post op . I got my boobie card today that was exciting. I have Mentor 475 cc left 500 cc right silicone! The warranty on them is fantastic. I am pleased with my results. I have noticed that women can be so catty yuck. People I thought were my friends have showed their true colors! It's OK though I'M glad I learned sooner than later. Looking forward to more progress with my new boobies in the weeks coming up!

Congratulations! You really look great and your not even 1 month post op! Despite the initial disappointment, I'm happy to hear that your doctor was looking out for you by postponing your surgery due to the hypertension. With all the pain meds you had to take, did you experience the lovely side effect of constipation? ;)Â Thank you for sharing your story on RealSelf!

Lol thanks Beth Im glad he put my health first !!! I notice with the bp pills I hv more energy so its great ! I did get constipated lol . 5 days ! The chocolate ex lax has become my buddy lol !!!

I almost think the constipation can be worse than the breast pain! Glad you love the chocolate flavor! ;)

Haha, chocolate exlax was the best! Only had to take 2 doses and everything was normal.
