I have always had a small chest and wanted to be more proportional. After saving up and researching, I found Dr. Eby and Dr. Aldea's office on RealSelf and other websites.

Short version:

They are amazing! I've recommended friends and family to them. I wouldn't go to anyone else!

Long version:

1. The consult: After you call the office, you will set up a consult with either Dr. Eby or Dr. Aldea. I was set up with Dr. Eby.

The office was easy to find and the staff is very welcoming. I went in for my consultation and I wasn't sure if I really wanted to get the procedure done or not. When I met Dr. Eby for the first time, she let me know that there was no pressure and that it was completely my decision. We talked for about 20-30 minutes and she told me to take my time and think about it.

After thinking for a week or so, I decided and I called back to set up my pre-op and surgery date.

2. Post-consult/Pre-op:

Once I decided to have my breast augmentation, I gave them a deposit and received an entire folder of information. This folder had pictures, frequently asked questions, and extremely detailed information about to prepare yourself and your family. Dr. Eby's office also has a scanner/photo thing that allows you to see what your new breasts will look like based on the size and type you choose. After looking at a few options I decided on 275 moderate plus profile with incisions around the areola.

From the moment I called for my consult until the day of my surgery, Dr. Eby's staff, especially her nurse Lilly, were available for any question I had and extremely responsive. Lilly even gave me her cell phone number if I had any questions.

3. The procedure:

I of course received reminder texts and instructions for the day of the procedure. Everything was very clear and I arrived at the hospital. Dr. Eby came by and talked to me. She spent about 20 minutes going over everything again in detail and making sure that I felt comfortable.

I went to sleep and when I woke up Dr. Eby was there to talk me through some post-operative instructions (which she mostly gave to my mom since I was a little out of it ha). She gave my mom her personal cell phone and Lilly called me the next day to see how I was doing.

There was some pain and discomfort, but I'll be honest....it was nothing. I only had to take one pain pill.

You might think..."maybe she's just tough." Well, I am tough, but when I had my wisdom teeth out, I took all of my pain pills and Tylenol and I still felt like I was dying. (just to give some perspective)

4. Follow-up:

In addition to check-in phone calls, I met with Dr. Eby the next week and then two weeks after that. We discussed any concerns I had and she checked to make sure everything looked great, which it did. Now at first I was worried because they seemed really high, but she assured me that they would fall and they did.

I'm currently at about 3 months post op and I love my breast implants. Dr. Eby and her staff did an amazing job. I'm beyond pleased. If you or someone you know is thinking about getting a breast augmentation, choose Cosmetic Surgery Specialists of Memphis.
