I was not informed about possible side effects of steroids by dr Clevens.
According to doctors who treat aquamid side effects in patients and according to manufacturer of aquamid steroids are not recommended to use to deal with aquamid, since they can worsen the condition.

I went to dr Clevens because my lip was looking bad after lip augumentation. I waited 1.5 hours for my consultation with him which was just 15 minutes. He suggested a treatment of 4-6 steroid injections for which I had to pay 2,000$ in advance. I waited another 1 hour for the first injection. One week later I started loosing my hair. It was very bad and continued till my next appointment with Dr Clevens. I told him about shedding however he denied that steroid shots cause hair loss and persuaded me to get another steroid injection. After 2nd injection hair loss got even worse. I was wig shopping 8 weeks after 1st steroid injection with dr Clevens. It is very bad, I have lost most of my hair and I am loosing it still, even though it has been months since the 2nd injection. I asked Dr Clevens for refund of the unused injections - I emailed his office, called about 15 ! times and spoke to different people, who were always saying they will tell the person in charge to contact me. Nobody contacted me and I never received a refund from them and they did not even say they were sorry. The 2 injections I had only brought very short and temporarily relief to my lip. At the moment my lip is as bad as it has been before and I have very little hair on my head. I paid 2 K for 6 injections, got only 2 and Dr Clevens never refunded the unused injections. I am very dissappointed with this doctor.
