I saw Dr Benjamin Burt after having a dreadful upper blepharoplasty which completely ruined the appearance of my eyes. To cut a long story short, it was a year of hell, hiding from everyone I knew because I was too embarrassed to be seen, and trying desperately to find an ocular plastic surgeon who could fix the problem - which seemed impossible. As I said, it took a year and a very circuitous route to find Dr Burt, and I am so glad I did. From the start he was empathetic and kind, and from the discussion we had I could tell he was an expert. He suggested solutions that no other surgeon had. Dr Burt went above and beyond the call of duty to help me, and I will forever be grateful. His skill and talent are remarkable, but not only that, his manner and presentation were impeccable. They say a patient heals faster if they have confidence in their doctor. I have 100% confidence in Dr Burt and would recommend him to anyone who needs any sort of work done on their eyes. Even if you have to travel from interstate to do so. After 12 months of misery and despair, I can finally look in the mirror and smile, instead of crying.
