Have done tons of research and finally starting a review of my own :) will be having my breast aug in October 2017. Firstly, here are my stats (this is what I’d always look for in a review first)…
** STATS **
Height: 175cm / 5’9”
Weight: 59kg / 130 pounds
BRA: 10A Aus / 32A USA / 32B UK size
BWD: 12.5cm
Bust: 31”
Under Bust / ribcage: 28”
Waist: 26”
Hips: 35”
Age: early 30s…… ;)
Btw I’ve had implants before… during my 20s. But currently implant free (removed them a few years ago). At the time, I needed a revision, but decided to remove them instead with a ‘Maybe’ plan to replace them in the future.. Why? well I wanted to try fall pregnant again and breastfeed (without my implants). I also wanted a chance for my skin and body to heal before replacing them in the future. There was a brief moment when I thought I wouldn’t get implants again, but after my second child... everything changed. Hope that doesn’t come across the wrong way though.. I wouldn’t change a thing and glad I was able to breastfeed as long as I did. Now I feel like it’s my turn to feel good about myself again. I can accept all my other ‘flaws’, I’m (mostly) ok with them :) but my boobs … another story. I just can’t accept how I look naked and out of proportion to rest of my body. So of course, I am over the moon to be able to have this BA.
Right now, I have deflated A cup breasts… excess skin…. Asymmetry (this bothers me the most).
Regular bras don’t sit right on me, I miss wearing them…. Very padded sport bras are my best friend lately.
For me, having a BA is something that will help me feel more womanly and confident in my clothes again (and out of them..lol). When I used to have implants, I looked more curvy, which I really liked.
This time I want to get wider implants, as my previous ones were too narrow on me.. hoping for some better cleavage. So excited… but nervous at the same time :)

MY CONSULT with Dr Douglas McManamny … very thorough, he’s a true professional

I don’t know how to backdate this post, but I actually had first consult back in June 2017. I was Super impressed with Dr Douglas McManamny – he was so thorough and we talked about all the options that would work best for me. He is a great listener and didn’t dismiss any of my concerns (I was full of questions lol). It was great to meet a PS with a calm and gentle nature ….so I instantly felt very comfortable with him. Beforehand I was nervous as I don’t let anyone see me undressed (not even my husband), but Dr McManamny is incredibly professional and made me feel at ease. He took dozens of measurements and then showed me a diagram of my breasts: he worked out from there how many cc’s my breast asymmetry difference was. Doug is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon (with 30 yrs exp), he is experienced with complex breast surgery (esp tuberous and asymmetrical breasts, so his past work shows that he is great at transforming complex breast types). THIS is why I chose him. –>>
..
I liked that we also talked about other ways to improve my BA result.. He said he could do a scar revision to improve an old ugly scar I have from past/previous breast surgery (different surgeon). Also talked about using Alloderm Dermal Graft to help where I need extra support and control (esp left breast which is my troublesome breast). So this isn't a standard breast aug... extra work required, but I'm confident that things will look better after this surgery.
Here is a summary………….
*SIZE & BWD:
Will most likely get Moderate Profile (L: 250cc / R: 300cc) – different sizes for asymmetry. Though might go with a bigger size in Moderate Plus profile, in same width. Only have 1 chance to get this right and am scared of making the wrong choice (I know I'm not alone in this minor dilemma lol it seems all us ladies on realself are trying to work out the same thing)! I’ll update on this after I decide at my final pre op appointment.
*DERMAL GRAFT:
‘Alloderm’ Dermal Graft to be used to help support implant / pocket.
*SCAR REVISION
+ Removing old scars from my previous breast surgery years ago (from a different surgeon).
+ Also removing some excess skin from my left side.

WISH PICS (and Double Wish Pic!!) deciding on size

User Avatar

Ok so after looking at so many breast aug pics... I have my fave WISH PICS to show my PS tomorrow at my Pre Op appt. I am getting real excited now because it seemed so far away on my calendar earlier this year, and now it's all happening. YAY... I'll be deciding on my implant size/type tomorrow.
I have a Double Wish Pic attached too ;) i know I'll never look like this btw, but one can only dream!
I have been set on the idea of implants around 300cc size (Moderate profile), but if I want more cc's I have to go up to around 375cc Moderate Plus profile. Any size in between that, might not fit my BWD properly and will widen my cleavage gap. Decisions! Decisions! Will make up my mind by tomorrow i hope.
Even though I'm tall 5'9", I actually have a small ribcage and under bust measurement. I wear a 10A bra (if that) so need to make sure i choose something to suit my frame.
Dr Gary Horndeski wrote this and I think it's pretty spot on: if you wear an 8/10 bra size (30/32) then every 200cc will add 2 cup sizes. But if you wear a 12/14 bra size (34/36) then every 200cc will add 1 cup size.
I'll see how the sizers look tomorrow and decide what looks better!
