It's been almost a year since I got my implants...
It's been almost a year since I got my implants and I wouldn't change them for the world. I always liked the look of fuller breasts, but lacked fullness in my upper pole, despite being a 10D-DD naturally. Once I found out I could get a BA in Australia by a plastic surgeon for under $10,000, I knew there was no reason not to. Dr Edmund Ek was a great surgeon, the consult was easy, he made me feel comfortable and I booked in to have the procedure done straight after the consult. We had discussed 550cc implants, on the day he had 550 and 600 and ended up going with 600cc. The post-op pain relief prescribed was adequate, I've heard of girls in agony after surgery but I feel the level of pain I experienced was average and the medication took care of that. I was able to prepare my own food, wash myself, and from about 2 weeks I could do light activities. Resting after the operation was hard because I'm normally an active person, that was the most difficult part and maybe had a toll on my emotional health, I found it hard going back to the gym. Once I got back into working out though everything was fine!
I love my new breasts. People often ask if they are natural, they look and feel incredible! My bra size went up to a 10H, which has made underwear shopping a little limited (good for the bank account I suppose).
Most of my friends told me not to get a BA, telling me I looked fine and it was unnecessary, also saying why have unnecessary surgery . All I can say is I'm glad I didn't listen to them.

Meeting Dr Ek for the first time I wasn't sure what to expect as I hadn't read many reviews about him or seen any other surgeon for a BA consult. He is so nice and professional and made me feel at ease. Using the Vectra to see how the implants would look really helped me decide on size. I had some photos of other BA's that I said I DIDN'T want to look like post op and he assured me he would make sure mine looked the way I wanted them to. The whole experience was pleasant and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone else.
