Provider Review
It's been almost two years since my revision, it's also been almost two years of hoping my nose would miraculously look better. I am extremely unhappy. I really like Dr Mehta, but devastated by the results of my revision. I had thought that my expectations, going in, were realistic, my initial rhinoplasty, in 1987, was far from perfect, but I was happy with the results. Unfortunately, a broken nose and breathing issues, made a second surgery necessary. Breathing is much better. Cosmetically, it look terrible, shapeless, round, bulky, hangs, and worse yet, changed the look of my face. It does not seem to go with the rest of my face. I don't feel like myself, anymore, more negative compared to how positive I had been. I no longer socialize with friends, rarely leave my house, and cannot bear to look at my face in a mirror. I don't recognize the person reflected back at me. I hadn't imagined that, something as superficial as my appearance, could cause me to feel so utterly destroyed. Yet, here I am, destroyed, depressed, and discouraged. I relocated to a new state, a few months ago, so another office visit, for another unsuccessful injection, would require booking a flight, hotel, additional expenses. I'm unsure of what to do, at this point. I am fond of Dr Mehta, his filler was superb, seriously top notch, but his attempts to correct my nose have been unsuccessful. :(
