You have such a beautiful result! I'm so happy for you. Mine is Dec. 1. I'm so nervous!

Do you have a doctor that you're confident in? Whose work you've seen and approve of? If so, then don't be nervous! I was SO excited. Like a kid before Christmas. The first few days are difficult, but just take your meds, sleep, eat, and rest. Once you get passed those first few days it really is manageable. And so worth it! It keeps getting better.

I do really like my dr. My close friend used him for hers, and I have gone to all of her appointments with her. She looks fantastic. I'm mainly nervous about pain, but I plan to stay on top of my meds. I will also have the exparel. So, that's good! Thanks for your encouragement.

I am having lipo on my hips, flank area and a little above that area. I have read that many people feel that is super painful. I guess that's why I'm more concerned. It's a lot at once. Also, which profile did you get? I'm getting Natrelle inspira, which is a fuller look. I'm not sure if I need high profile, or if that will be too much. I don't want to be too big!

I got waist lipo done as well. For me its been more of a lingering sore pain, but completely manageable. I'm not sure if I got high profile or not...my doc made the final decision while I was in surgery. I have an appt this week tho and I will find out!

I had my mommy makeover with fully muscle repair done 8 days ago. I've made it past the most difficult days. I prepared myself as best as possible but it was a rough week. The stomach muscle repair was the most painful and I couldn't feel the Lipo on my flanks or BA at all. Since I had to sleep/sit propped up and walked hunched over, my back and butt really hurt a lot. That was something I hadn't prepared for. Thankfully I had some heating pads and had to switch positions often.. just wanted to warn you!

Be careful not to overdo it with the heating pads! I wanted to use mine but so much of me was/is really numb!

Yup I only used them for short periods of time. I was just so surprised that on top of the tummy tuck pain I had to deal with pain on the other side of my body too!

You look amazing! Have you started exercising again? Are you mostly feeling back to normal? When were you able to go back to work? My surgery is schedule for Dec 2nd and I'm most concerned about when I can get back to my running and swimming since I'm training for a half ironman next summer! : )

So, granted, I'm wearing spanx, but my stomach NEVER looked this flat...

Ab exercises will never feel the same, but no worries .... it's already flat !

Hard to verbalized, but in my scar area (which looks really good,) some an exercises they do in the boot camp class (don't know all the names of them) give me a weird sensation like a tugging or something. I normally just do a plank or normal crunches when they do them....,
