Breathing has improved - tip continues to shrink

Hi all, this will be very short. I've gotten a lot of messages inquiring whether I am happy with my revision and if I have any updates.
The swelling was much worse after this surgery than the previous ones, so I guess keep that in mind for revisions.
The swelling in the bridge DID come down! The callous I mentioned on the left side is still there, but I think I'm probably the only one who can see it. It still kind of bothers me, but it doesnt upset me really.
My tip continues to shrink. The swelling was bananas; when I compare 3 months and now there is a huge difference. I also don't feel like miss piggy anymore lol. It's still fatter than I would have liked but I predict it will get even more refined with the cold weather now.
My breathing has improved and I think the spreader grafts have helped tremendously. I also no longer have consistent bleeding from my right nostril where it kept scabbing before this surgery.
My nose is not perfect nor is it as pretty as the noses on Dr.G's website. There are a few things that bother me and I am in touch with Dr. G about them. If I plan on getting a revision in the future, it will probably be with him.
Pretty much, Dr. G won't ruin your nose, that's for sure. But there is no guarantee you'll get one of his perfect noses either.
BTW, no one noticed or commented on my nose after the revision. I genuinely don't think anyone noticed a difference. Crazy ain't it!
Please note I no longer check this website so I apologize if I do not reply to messages/posts. My best wishes and prayers with everyone, especially those of you making the difficult choice of picking a revision Dr. Do your research, take your time, follow your instincts

8 weeks- opinions?
Has anyone had a callous on their bridge go away AFTER 2 months? Please share your experiences!!!
The callous/bump was very hard at first and now its squishy and I can tell there is a lot of swelling. My profile has changed so much in the span of two months and it has been frustrating and nerve wrecking but I am still hanging on to hope and trying to be patient.

I think it depends on how you heal. I've heard from one Dr who does revisions across Canada that you can have odd bone growth after rhinoplasty. Sometimes it goes away and some times it stays. I think for this waiting a year is good. I know that's hard. You can breath and I'm happy to hear this can improve. My experience has been close to your so thank you for posting your experience.
Thanks for sharing. I can tell there is callous and its shifting around, I am just praying it will go away with time rather than harden. My breathing has improved and overall my nose looks better so I am being patient
yes mine went down completely by 6-8 months from memory. Have faith... i know its hard since uve been trying to get rid of this bump for a long time but i think that it will go down
aahhh this gives me hope! It's not bad at all but like you said I've been trying to get rid of it for a long time and this was my third procedure!!! I really hope as the swelling goes down the callous will also disappear!!!
My goodness you have had a run of it. I'm so sorry! I don't know if this is a useful thing to say, but honestly in my truest opinion, you look really great. Even if there's a little bump that always stays there, you have a great great nose and to look at your face as a whole, it's completely beautiful. I understand that you're trying to keep focused on the big picture. I'm sure that will get easier with time, too. Thank you for posting your experience. I'm on the wait list for Dr. G in May and I love reading about what to expect from him (I hope I don't have that same crap nurse! What a jerk! Ha!) and to hear he seems to be a man of integrity as well as talent. Thanks!
Thank you! Hope you have a great experience!
Is it worse or better than it pictures as the bridges narrows?
For what it's worth--I'm so sorry that one problem you really, really wanted fixed above all is still there, but a month after you wrote this, I hope it is better. Who knows, he might be able to help you with it in six months (without charge) with a conservative kenalog injection.
For now, it is a restored and attractive nose.
I hope in that time what you see is actually something that doesn't cause you distress anymore.
Great to hear about your experience. I thought Dr G didn't do revisions? Or is he just really selective about them? Does he generally do revisions that involve ear grafts? Any insight would be very helpful!
He does do revisions. But he turns away some cases. Email him.

Pictures after Primary
For those of you asking to see "before"
cringe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
still really upset about that experience.
2nd procedure by same surgeon barely made a difference in profile, and in fact made things worse (nostrils went up)

You've gone through so much not to be 100% happy. I had primary rhinoplasty 10 weeks ago. I see imperfections. I ask myself would I have a revision in a year. I don't know......I hope your healing process gets better.
What did your original nose look like? I think your nose looks really good here....as well as after your revision with Dr. G. I think the "bump" after your primary is nearly unnoticeable and nonexistant after your revision with Dr. G....your new profile is straight imo. Anyway, I hope everything turns out well for you! :) :)
Thanks for your input. I guess only a side by side official photo comparison will show how unevenly my bridge was shaved but I don't feel that I need to prove this to anyone. I asked for a straight profile not a bumpy one, and even if it doesnt look "bad" to others, the hump was not filed down properly and it did not accomplish what the patient, me, and surgeon agreed upon. Therefore the surgery was nowhere near a success. It was a half job where the middle of my nose was shaved too much and the top too little. Its not something a surgeon would post on their website to showcase. Either way. I was extremely unhappy and very self conscious of it. My nose is much better now. Thanks for your well wishes!
I understand what your saying. It's an expensive surgery and as patients, we'd like to think that what we ask for (especially something as seemingly simple as shaving a hump) will be achieved. Rhinoplasty can become a frustrating and draining journey for many. I hope that as you heal and de-swell you will achieve your desired result.
*you're
Yes, exactly! There was nothing "wrong" with my biological nose to begin with, I just wanted a different look, and paid a lot for it and underwent a surgery, but I didn't get what was promised. Thanks I really do hope once swelling goes down I will be happy
Thank you sunflowerslove! I hope so too
How it is going now. Was the nose revision good?
