I'm 44, mommy to 3 kiddos (4, 6, & 8 ages). I BF/Pumped for all 3, about a year each and my breasts have paid dearly for it!!!!!

I've always been a medium (size 8-10) (36B) about 150lbs but after nursing I lost all my weight including my breasts. I went from a 36B to a low 32C, 135lbs (size 4-6). Honestly, I can probably fit into a 32B depending on the padding level. In addition to excess skin from weight loss, sagginess & loss of volume from nursing, I have asymmetry. I never thought I had asymmetry until looking at pics of my breasts, which the PS so kindly puts on an extra-large screen for you to see every imperfection and flaw. :-(

I'll admit, I was never an advocate of PS and shunned at the thought of even having it. But, as you get older, have babies and try to keep what you HAD, be it dress size, weight etc....You quickly realize what you had is NOT coming back…..unless you do something about it!!!!! You realize that the constant shifting of your bra to adjust your toneless breasts, and the difficulty in finding clothes and bathing suits that fit...is annoying, irritating and just aggravating.
It becomes clear, if not crystal what needs to happen.

So, you give in and you're here!!! And I’m so happy that I am... happy that I gave in! Cause I’m ready!!

Decided on size!

We decided on 350cc Ideal implant. Although because of my asymmetry PS is thinking he’ll probably fill over 350. It’s important to me that I look a natural as possible without giving me the, “OMG she got a boob job” look. It’s hard cause you don’t want people to know you had them done but you also want nice voluptuous breasts. I think as long as he’s in the high 300’s I should be okay!

Torn....sizers 350

Although I decided on 350 and my PS surgeon said more than likely it will be high 300’s. I’ve read so many posts from women who wish they’ve gone bigger. I’d hate to go through all this only to come out wishing I’d gone bigger. But I don’t want too big like obviously you had a boob job big. Feel like I’m talking and going in circles.

Some people embrace plastic surgery, excited and ready to take the plunge!!! I was the complete opposite. Unfortunately, plastic surgery comes with allot of criticism and skepticism from everyone! Many people just can’t understand the thought of wanting to change your body. And I was one of them, until I nursed my 3 babies. And my small but perky 32C breasts were now barely a C and sagged horribly. I tried to fix the problem on my own and invested in push up bras and more bras. Over time it became a constant battle. Trying to find clothes that would properly fit and trying to find a bathing suit that would hold in my volume-less breasts, without having my nipple pop out at the community pool. Which BTW did!!! So, I slowly, very slowly entertained the idea of surgery. I did my research and met with dr’s to find which procedure would be best for me and my lifestyle. Also, and this was really, really important to me, I didn’t want everyone to know that I had surgery. It was imperative that I found someone who could enhance what I have, rather than give me the “you had a boob job” look. Not only did Dr Setty calm my fears of surgery and the potential of scarring. I truly felt that he and his staff understood what I was trying to achieve. They answered all my questions, both in person and on the phone, even the silliest of questions and sometimes repetitive as there’s so much information to digest! His work is flawless. The initial fear I had of not only the surgery but the scarring, especially since its more prone with African American skin. Dr. Setty calmly put my fears at ease, listened to my concerns and offered options as to how we could lessen the chance of scarring. I had so much sagging and loss of volume due to nursing my 3 children. I was so concerned that I’d have an anchor incision and was warned by another surgeon that there was just NO way around it, you’re gonna have a scar, was his exact words. It meant allot to me that Dr. Setty was sensitive to my fears he listened. Which is so rare in any Dr. these days!!! I have very little evidence of surgery, just the line for my lift and that’s it. Which by the way is healing very nicely. He doesn’t use staples or stiches that require removal. Most of the stitching is internal and is layered with skin glue, so everything dissolves within 2 weeks. My recovery was great and I was back to normal activities, minus working out within a week. Dr Setty and his team are exceptional, kind and just awesome!! Definitely a loyal patient and faithful follower I will be! Hope this review helps those who are scared and nervous about taking the plunge!!
