I have never been overweight, but menopause...
I have never been overweight, but menopause unwanted bulges caught up with me. I tried diet and exercise and nothing worked. I had always been active, but for the last several years I found myself working out so hard and not seeing any reduction in my problem spots. Also, my clothes did not fit the way they used to so I decided to pursue liposuction.
My amazing surgeon, Dr. Setty in McKinney, TX was using BodyTite to enhance liposuction because it tightens the skin. Since I am 64, tightening my skin along with giving me my figure back was paramount.
The surgery was relatively painless and my recovery has been very easy. I barely bruised from the liposuction and had no bruising from fat injections to my hands, parenthesis lines around my mouth and marionette lines. I credit my doctor's skill and knowledge for that outcome.
It is a little over 4 weeks since my surgery and I am thrilled with my results. I have minimal skin laxity on my lower abs and back and continue to lose inches as my swelling reduces. Per my doctor's suggestion, I have been doing regular cryo therapy sessions 3 times a week which have helped the swelling. In addition, I have been getting lymph drainage massages.
