I am including a few "after" pics of Restylane to tear trough area. I did not take before pictures and wasn't even sure I would have procedure done on the day of consult. I would say that I had mild to moderate hallows with shading making me look exhausted. The first pic was 2 days after and the others today. I had the fillers on Feb 20, 11 days ago. It was a very minimal amount and I have a follow up next week to see if I will touch up. I am very happy and noticed a big difference. No one else has noticed and that's fine with me as I preferred to be discreet.

I am a 47 year old woman and I recently started noticing a tired look in my appearance every time I looked into the mirror. It was mainly due to hollows under my eyes. After research I was surprised to see that fillers (Restylane) could help in that area. After reading about how unforgiving that area is, mainly from the professional doctors on this site, I decided that I could only trust an experienced Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon. I was fortunate enough to find One in my area. Fortunately, with one syringe, I was able to have both tear troughs treated, a little to elevate my brows, and the remaining to fill in small facial lines beside by mouth. I was fortunate enough to have absolutely NO bruising. I had been on and off the fence about it after reading so many negative reviews about the tear trough area. My skin is very thin and I was very concerned about negative results. I am very happy with my results and very happy that I decided to go through with it. It was a minimal amount but it worked wonders and I am very happy. I would only add that it is very very important to seek a qualified, experienced doctor to perform the actual procedure. I am sure there are many qualified doctors and dermatologists but for my face I knew I wanted a Facial Plastic Surgeon.

I have an upcoming consultation with dr. Ayala. I'm 35 with hollows under my eyes and looking into Restalyn injections too. I didn't see any before and after pics on his website regarding fillers but he is a board certified plastic surgeon and that's the main reason why I considered the consultation. Can you give me any "insight" on his experience with fillers? I would really appreciate it :)

Hi Qtbell18, that was one of my main concerns when I scheduled my consultation. I inquired about experience and he is indeed highly experienced and performs fillers on a regular basis. It is important to note that he is is board certified in Facial plastic surgery which is exactly what I was looking for I was very worried about not looking "natural" afterwards. He did a wonderful job and explained in detail what I could expect. There is absolutely no pressure to have anything done during consultation and you can decide after being fully informed. I was highly satisfied. Thanks.

Hi Qtbell18, did you already go with Dr. Ayala? I also have an upcoming consultation with him for fillers under my eyes. I am interested to see how yours went since I'm very nervous about going in.

You were smart to find a doctor with a lot of experience doing this. We would love to see some pics of your tear troughs- it would be helpful for anyone considering this treatment or doctor. Thanks for sharing.

Great information here, did your doctor a needle or a cannula into your tear trough? I had Belotero injected with a needle syringe and had bad bruising and puffiness for weeks!
