Beautiful!! I had mine done yesterday and I'm kind of freaking out at how HUGE they are. My nurse said they would swell and feel bigger than they appear but even my husband said they appear to very swollen. Did you do anything for aftercare and/or anything for the swellling? I have been icing 20 minutes every hour.

Thank you!! They get huge...almost embarrassingly big for the first couple days. But I promise it does go down quickly and it looks amazing. I did a lot of icing, for both the swelling and the pain; I also took ibuprofen. The second and third days are the worst for swelling...I think you'll start seeing your true results soon! There wasn't much else I found to be helpful, other than time. So worth it though I promise :)

I've been wanting lip injections for so long but felt like it just wasn't something that regular people did...until I started researching juvederm and realized that it's actually possible to get totally natural and beautiful results!!! Everyone at Luxe Laser Center made me feel so comfortable and at ease through the entire process. The nurse, Nicole (LOVE HER), decided it would be best to start slow with me since I was so nervous. We started off by adding 1 half of a syringe to my top lip only during my first session...the swelling was shocking, not going to lie..and it did last about a week. But I loved what I saw!! When I came in for my second appointment Nicole added a little more to my top lip and some volume to the bottom. I'm now a few months out and I am so much happier than I could have even imagined.

Just seeing this--thank you! After the slight pain from the first session I took a risk and took ibuprofen before the second...which caused bruising :( I iced regularly but expected the swelling so it wasn't as much of a shock. My coworkers didn't know what was different about me (couldn't quite figure it out) until I told them, so it wasn't a huge deal.
