After suffering through two previous breast...

After suffering through two previous breast augmentations by a doctor who didn't listen, and I felt like didn't care, I desperately needed to find a caring, competent doctor to reduce my oversized bosom. My first breast augmentation left me with the perfect size... However, the shape was awkward. They were too far apart on my wide chest (I had high profiles which I did not like for my body frame bc I have such broad shoulders) and the implant looked like it never fully dropped. I waited 2 years, hoping my breasts would round out, but they never did. Last year I made the worst mistake by returning to the same doctor who performed the first procedure. I addressed my concerns and he blamed the implants, being that they were silicone, and that I needed saline to achieve my desired result. I blindly trusted the Dr, specifically told him I wanted max 550 cc implants, and when I woke up from surgery I was horrified to discover I had two saline implants pushing 700 cc's each. They were 550 cc bags overfilled to almost 700 cc's. I was furious, but the nurses told me they would look great after the swelling went down and yata yata. Well, a year later, my boobs were still ridiculous for my 5ft3 115 lb body. I started to feel ripples under my breast from the saline bags. They bulged from my side, hurt my back, and made it hard as hell to work out and be active. OMG and finding clothes/bras that fit was a nightmare. I then made the decision to find a new plastic surgeon to fix my problem and give me that perfect 34 full C/ small D that I originally wanted. I interviewed a few doctors. Well like half a dozen! I crossed out the ones that were not board certified and the ones that didn't show confidence in performing the procedure I needed and giving me the results I wanted. I narrowed it down to 3 surgeons in the area. I chose Dr. Ferrari because he was confident and straight forward, listened to my concerns and went out of his way to answer all my questions. Plus, I know a good amount of people who have chosen him as their plastic surgeon and the enhancements he did on them were amazing.

Still swollen and sore, but I love the size! Still nice and big, but not obnoxiously huge! Also they are round on top (not rectangular this time! lol) with good cleavage.

Im glad you finally have what you wanted! Your picture looks like your results were awesome! I am having my revision next week and switching to silicone as well, the water filled salines are so strange especially when they start to ripple! Hope your healing goes well!!

Raleigh3640,
I'm wanting to get a breast augmentation by dr. Ferrari and was wondering if u could share more photos..:) btw they look great from what I can see

Yeah, I will put some more pics up once the swelling goes down a little more and they even out a bit more. I do recommend Dr. Ferrari. Consults are complimentary and everyone at his practice are very nice!

Hi Raleigh3640, wow I'm glad it finally all worked out for you. Seems like a good Doctor. And a good price. We have to pay double that price in Hawaii. I have to get a revision also and a lot of pocket repair, I'm thinking it's gonna be more painful also. Was wondering though did they put a stratice or matrix or anything when they did your surgery ?
July 7, 2014
No, I asked about stratice, but the Dr. said it wasn't really necessary bc I was so young and had pretty thick skin. I know it's super expensive! I've heard good things about it, but didn't want to spend unnecessary extra $.
July 7, 2014
That is great news that you have thick skin !! Most girls don't so that is going to be extra helpful in your case I would do the same . You must be happy now !!

Your results look great!! I had Strattice for my revision and it was an additional 3 grand, but it helps with displacement, rippling and cap con, and can give you a slight internal lift, like a bra. I'm glad your doc said you didn't need it, but I just wanted to comment here for others who may need it (especially if you've had cap con, mainly) that it's worth the extra expense when you compare it to the cost of several revisions down the road (but only if your doc specializes in it -- my doc has used it for 9 years and has never done a revision on a patient who used it!!!! Wowsers, huh?!). So glad you ended up with what you want and with good results.

Hey mamamel 1974, I was looking for someone who had your proceedure with stratice put in and previous CC to see how it felt and if any infection occurred , I'm going to probably need the same. Would live to hear your updates .

You're results look great! Did you have internal sutures?
July 9, 2014
Yep! I needed a lot of pocket work. My old implants were so big they bulged out at the sides and stretched out the old pockets.

Thanks! I was considering driving to fal for internal bra with Dr. Revis. I'm in NC since I've read your review I'm considering a consult with your doctor. He's much closer!
I'm so glad you finally got the results you were looking for. Sounds like you really did your homework when choosing a revision doctor. We'd love to see a before/after photo, if you have any you feel comfortable sharing.
