26yr Old Revision Rhinoplasty, Happy with Result!
WORTH IT
I had a revision rhinoplasty with dr.townley on august 30th.
Prior to this, i had a primary rhinoplasty abroad with a different surgeon. Although there wasn't anything drastically 'wrong' with my nose following this, i definitely wasn't satisfied with the outcome.
Upon our consultation, Dr townley agreed with me and said i'd need to a cartilage graft (which would either be obtained from the ear or the septum) to make my nose longer, tilt upwards and to provide the nose with definition/structure. He also said i had a slight under recession on the bridge of my nose, but i opted not to do anything about this as my main concern was the tip. It had a slight 'droopy' appearance, didn't have any shape, and when i smiled the tip practically touched my upper lip!
Although i had shown Mr.Townley a morph of how i envisioned my nose to look after the procedure, he has even managed to surpass my expectations!! I once used to hate my right side profile, now, its my favourite side! My family (who were initially very sceptical and hesitant about me having a second procedure) have also been delighted with the outcome saying that i should've gone to him for my primary! I am seeing Dr.Townley next week, and despite some residual swelling (which is normal) i am v.pleased with the outcome.
Any surgery can be a life-changing experience, but in my opinion, rhinoplasty especially makes a profound difference in how you feel about yourself. When choosing a surgeon, you need to ensure that they are committed to delivering results of the highest standards. Dr Townley exemplifes this quality, and right from our first interaction, i knew that he was someone who is genuinely passionate about the work he performs and that he is realistic/empathetic when discussing concerns.
Although i only had the tip of my nose restructured, this subtle, yet significant difference has had a tremendous impact in how i feel about myself. My confidence has been elevated a result of this surgery. I am so grateful i found Dr. Townley and if you're looking for someone to perform a rhinoplasty, i would highly recommend him.
