Tip and Nostrils Rhinoplasty

It's been Three months and the tip has gone down but not too much from my last photo. Its like the first couple months it goes down but now it's taking it's time. The tip is now just pointing out like you can see it's something poking out. Someone told me my nose looks swollen at the tip. I'm feeling down again. I guess maybe another 3 months it will go down more. I'm seeing my Dr. In another month.

Do you like your nose? I agree it’s still high/upturned but give it more time. Ask your doctor for the surgery notes, if it doesn’t drop where you want it to be he probably over-rotated the tip (I saw ur post about him removing a stitch 16 days later... that’s not typical, unless the tip was overrotated, releasing the stitch is the easiest way to help the tip drop a little) the good thing is that a surgeon who specializes in revision rhinoplasty can fix it easily but be very clear about what you want if you decide to go for revision, and definitely go to someone who 1.specializes in ethnic noses and 2. Specializes in revision.

Thank you so much. Some people as saying it looks find but I know its still high up. I'm starting to like what its becoming because it came down a lot. But I need it to come down more. I'm going to ask him today should it go down more after another month. I know they said 3-6 months you should see some differnce

Just be patient, at 6 months you’ll start to see how it’s going to really look, but the final result will be 12 months-3 years, it’s a really long time so don’t obsess over it so much... I think it will drop a bit more because it’s still early, if it doesn’t drop to where you want it in a year it can be fixed easily. Xx

OK thank you. I'm trying not to rush it. But I hate walking around like this. Like if it can come down to where it looks OK in the next month or two I'll be fine to wait. But thanks so much. I'm hoping for a beautiful nose.

Hello all. So I was freaking out in the beginning. But now it seems my nose is coming down from the piggy like nose. I'm still not feeling the nostrils right now but I can see my nose has come down a lot. My Dr has given me nose exercises and its helping. Hopefully in the next month or two the nose will come down to where I'm most comfortable.

It's hard to compare without before pictures. I think it looks great though. He's one of the surgeons that I'm consulting with for my current skin disaster. hope you love your new nose!

Hello sweetie, your before nose is simliar to mine; not to be rude but your nose does look the same in your after photos, slighty more upturned. America isn’t really good at minimising wider noses that’s why I’m looking in Asian Countries as a majority of Asians have wide noses and are nose skilful in achieving a small defined nose. If you are ever thinking of getting a revision I’d recommend South Korea, I just want to help you as you don’t seem particularly happy with the result. I wish you the best x

Thanks alot. For some reason my nose has gotten bigger over the years it seem. I'm kinda liking it more then before. Its definitely smaller as I wanted the nostrils smaller. The tip seems to have come down a lot. I'm happier before but its still swollen and they say to give it a year. Ughhh but I'm giving it another two months to see if it gets better.
