My recovery was uneventful. I took pictures every day in the same chair for 3 weeks. It was remarkable how fast I healed. I went to the grocery store to run an errand only one week postop. I took pain meds maybe 2 -3 days at the most. I have shared with Dr. Ridenour how much I love coming to his office. The staff is truly incredible. When I am asked about my surgery I say that Dr. Ridenour is technically and esthetically gifted. About 3 years ago I had a brow, face and neck lift, fat injections, and lower eyelid surgery with Dr. Ridenour. I had considered having this procedure for most of my adult life. All my friends knew that 'Maureen' would get a facelift someday. I would frequently look in the mirror and be unhappy because what I saw did not reflect how I felt. When I had finally had my facelift, the result was truly profound. It really was a mid-life changing experience! I decided to see Dr. Ridenour for my consultation because he was on a list of 3 surgeons provided by my dermatologist. I had written their names in my Outlook contact for future reference. Later on, a colleague mentioned that her friend and her friend's mom had facelift surgery with Dr. Ridenour and were very happy. I went to all three websites and called Dr. Ridenour for the first appointment. My colleague came with me to my appointment. I never saw the other two doctors. I went to Dr. Ridenour's website again and liked what I saw A LOT. Before and after pictures are the most important part of the website. .
