The swelling to have lasted this long was pretty unexpected… but other than that I could not be more happy with the results. I am almost walking normal, albeit still hurts a bit to stand up straight, but I'm getting there. This morning was one of the first selfies where I actually felt like I was getting there… like I can actually see where this is going to finish and I like it :)

Im Home....
2 nights at Serenity, which I don't know how anyone does this without the help of these nurses. I feel like I slept straight thru the last 3 days. Dr. Macias and Nurse Tami said that everything looks the way its supposed to! I have to say, this is the most painful thing I've ever experienced. But at the same time I feel like a million bucks. I was really looking forward to catching up on some TV, but as of right now I can't seem to stay awake longer than 20 minutes... Gotta love pain pills.

Pre-op and physical complete :)
I had my physical monday and my pre-op today. Everything went really well. Im getting very excited to do this. Dr. Macias, his nurse Tammy and the entire staff at Marina Plastic Surgery are great. I was there much longer than my appointment time due to the fact that they took extra time to answer every single question i had, in detail. They were super cooperative and helpful in securing my financing as well. They really have a knack for making you feel comfortable at all levels. 12 days out!
